Steven after shooting with your canon (giggity) here are my views:

I think you are missing out on good lenses...the lens you have are not doing the body ANY justice....the 10-22 f3.5 lens is decent...the 28-300 is an overkill for what you shoot....

I would suggest a prime 35mm lens...f1.4/2.4 even f2.8 will do....

the only reason why the 28-300 is an issue is the focusing....it takes an eon to focus...

I will setup something up this weekend and we can get a nice video of the car and some nice shots....my car should be ready tomorrow

Steven deserves 2 parking spots, so no problem.

Just stop moving while taking pics Anil

Nice interior I wasn't waiting that good details Steven
What happens when you turn the mode select button, left or right?
Sport comfort?

I love how fan/heat knobs are digital inside
Pedals look perfect. Same with the shift knob
Gauges are lovely
Navigation looks same as the one I had in Camaro SS and I loved it.
Fast and easy to use like Acura/Honda Nav right?
Unlike German navs or Infiniti's nav

Video time

Clearly, Chevy substantially improved the interior over previous iterations of the Corvette. One nitpick item, though - Why does the "Engine Start Stop" button look like it belongs on my dishwasher?

Gauge cluster is great, and the center stack is a HUGE improvement. Material quality looks much improved, as well. Very nice!!

Justin, this time when he comes over, I will ask him to try shooting with my Nikon...I think the pix will come out great....

Also while adjusting the viewfinder focus (as Austin suggested), I turned it to where it was sharp and in focus and I asked Steven...

Me: Steven, is this fine? sharp and in focus?
Steven: NO
Me: go ahead adjust it to where you can see it in focus
STEVEN ADJUSTS
Me: fuq you need to wear glasses while taking pix....

I usually dont use the LiveView but in his case, I thought that was a great option so he can see everything on a bigger screen and then take the shot...

Thanks for the shots, Anil. No offense though but that lens is terrible.

I love that interior! And I'd love to try the 7-speed.

I don't know, other than it's perpetually strange placement in Honda/Acura vehicles, I don't have a problem with that button.

Where does honda normally put them?
Mine is right next to the steering column where the normal ignition would be.

Easy. Sell the Corvette for profit and get an Aventador

Honestly Steven, you may want to consider contacting Canon. The pictures Anil took are still blurry and if the auto focus is on and everything is clean, there's no reason why that caliber of camera and glass should produce fuzzy shots.

I leave the site for a few days and see this thread.

I am so sorry I missed it.

Is that a 7MT shifter I see in that center console?

You. Lucky. Bastard.

CONGRATS and enjoy that very, very nice car in good health!

Very nice Steve. And glad to see GM step up the interior. Better than mini-van dials/knobs the old ones had.

I was at a stop light tonight. A guy opened the door to his minivan and said, "I don't usually cuss, but that's a fucking beautiful Corvette!"

Yea, I agree about lowering it. I need to slow down and be more patient. I've purchased a few things for it already (the carbon fiber dash gets installed Tuesday). I want to find a flat bottomed steering wheel for her. I found one already, but it's $1,035-yikes!

There will be solutions coming (like lowering it). So I'll be a little more patient and see what comes out in the near future.

it looks a little bit out of focus to me. use AV mode so that your camera will figure out the shutter speed. if its slower than 1/60 sec imo, you have to start being very steady with the camera.
