My BS Thread (Part Deuce)

My final semester of college starts next week so I decided to spend a week in Charlotte! I hung out with ACCURATEin (Eric) on Tuesday and finally convinced him to black out his headlights. Here are some pictures in no specific order.
Don't let this picture fool you, I did most of the work
My car was supervising the process...
Here's what his TEs looked like before the yellow paint...
He has tires on the way but still
You'll see more of those RE30s later in the post
So all of that was on Tuesday. I went back over today and put the two Volk RE30s on my car. Here are the specs:
17x9
+35 (+20 front, +15 rear with spacers)
255/40/17 front
245/40/17 rear
We didn't realize until after the fact that the tires were wider on one wheel Anyways, the rear fitment was spot on, but the fender literally sat on top of the front tire. I didn't want to move the car and mess anything up.
And since the tires on the Kuhmos are showing even more threads than the set on the TEs, Eric wanted to paint the letters to make it moar racecar.
See, I told you the tires on the REs were worse
We didn't have time to mount the REs on Eric's car but we loved it regardless.
We were going to put two of the TEs on my car but Eric lives in a fancy part of town and the apartment manager wasn't happy that we were swapping parts in front of the model apartment's garage
I like the REs, they are SUPER lightweight and look great for 17s, but I don't think they look right on my TL. I must admit that I love the beefy tire look though

Wow all of those photos are pretty awesome. I studied each one for quite a while whilst browsing. It has been a lot of fun messing around with the TLs and doing little mods. Thanks again for pushing me to get on the ball with the headlights and everything else haha.

Woah! Loving the neon wheels, Eric!
I'm with you Tyler, the RE30's don't look right on your car. I think it looks better on Eric's but not as good as the TE37's.
Nice pictures too, buddy.

WOW am amazed how well the 17x9 +20 fits on the car....I had always thought, it will stick out tooo much and with a wider tire, it would be only worse....
Tyler, you have your fenders rolled right?

I'm sure J or Austin would help! Well, you might not want Austin's help, so just ask J

Yes
I did
Here are some pictures of his car that I took on Friday evening. I'm not too happy with them, but oh well
Yes, lots of shots of dat booty. The light source was behind the car so most of the shots of the front turned out like crap
Here are some super duper edited ones for Anil
And just one of my car
If you look at the bottom of the tail light, you can see where some jackass hit my car last year and cracked the housing
We went to the ISO/Streetwise Drift event yesterday and even though it was rained out, I took over 700 pictures. I'm down to about 150 but still need to edit them. They should be posted sometime tomorrow

The CL is gorgeous! It has a few nasty rock chips on the front but it's clean considering it's age and having 205k on the clock
It is
Alright, time for a photo dump. First set is from the ISO/Streetwise Drift event this past Saturday in Charlotte. Lots of Acurazine guys showed but we got rained out. I attempted to salvage the pictures in Lightroom
After the meet, Tyler (OakTre), Aaron (BadazzTL-S), and I went to RK Motors in Charlotte. You can see their inventory on their website: http://www.rkmotorscharlotte.com/
And then we took just a few more pictures in the rain before going our separate ways

Great pics Tyler. I love the shots you took at RK pearing through other cars to the one you were focusing on. The FF and Twin Turbo vette are new since I was last there. Was the blue Ferrari 275 GTB still there?

Thanks fellas! I'm glad you enjoyed them
Thanks Jason! Yep, the 275 was next to the F40. I wanted to get pictures but we were kicked out due to closing before I could get some
Thanks Anil!
You actually wanted a break from building LEGO?!?!!
Thank you Eric!
Thanks tarsier
It was stunning in person and interesting to learn that it's actually Plastidipped.
Thanks Steven! The rain was annoying but we made the best out of it
Thanks dood!
Thank you sloth! I love the 35mm
Thank you again fellas! I'm glad I could help you out Anil. I love my A-Specs but those REs on my car really makes me want to do a beefy setup in the future.
