Yeah, that is the 1, not the 2. 32GB max (it's in the manual which you can DL from ojocam.com). 32GB will give you a little over 6 hours of HD video.

First off, thank you for sharing the ojocam sale!!happy to see it has the GPS module, I thought that would be an extra $.

Have some trouble finding the invisicord. In their site they only have radar cords. Did you get a custom cord?

if you use that cam in more than 1 car, you will have to buy an extra base that contains the GPS module... not all that expensive but something to keep in mind...

Doing some research on dashcamtalk, looks like this is the best bang for your buck: https://dashcamtalk.com/g1w/

I actually had 1 for a couple of months this summer (from ebay/china) but its now not recording anymore and files are getting corrupted. May have been because this was a battery version and it got pretty hot this summer in KC.

So looking to get the new G1W-C version with the capacitor so while it won't record when car is off it will be more heat/temp resistance.

Since I just bought my 06 TL, I will definitely be protecting my investment with a cheap product that can be of a big insurance boost.

Check out this thread about a guy who saved $2400 with his G1W $60 dash cam: [USA] Now that the court case is over, my hit-and-run incident back in March : Roadcam

Get a female cigarrette lighter extender. Not the kind shown above, that one may do the job but there is a better way IMO. The one I a going to use is 12', heavy duty wire, cost $8.

[ebay]

Run that through the headliner/A pillar down to the center console cigarette lighter and plug in a splitter (I use a 3way) No need to fuse because there are two already in line. One at the male end of the power adapter from the camera and another in the extender.
Hey I'm looking to do this method since I really don't want to hardwire and I still want to keep some usable 12v outlets since I also use my GPS as well.

So when you mean a "splitter" do you mean something like this:
Amazon.com: PLEMO 3-Socket Cigarette Lighter Power Adapter DC Outlet Splitter Dual-Port USB Car Charger for Cell Phones, iPhones, iPads & Tablet Computers, Black: Cell Phones & Accessories Amazon.com: PLEMO 3-Socket Cigarette Lighter Power Adapter DC Outlet Splitter Dual-Port USB Car Charger for Cell Phones, iPhones, iPads & Tablet Computers, Black: Cell Phones & Accessories

And basically run this
Amazon.com: RoadPro RP-203EC 12V 12' Extension Cord with Cigarette Lighter Plug: Automotive Amazon.com: RoadPro RP-203EC 12V 12' Extension Cord with Cigarette Lighter Plug: Automotive
from one of those spliiter outlets and hookup the dash cam that way?

The G1W has a fairly long power cord, so the front facing cam may not need that extension.

Although I am also contemplating installing another G1W to face the rear and so that may need the extension cord, and the 3-way splitter will definitely help in that regard.

Anyone has suggestions of how best to mounting a cam on the rear windshield (to catch rear-end crashes) ? Alot of the cams comes with really crappy suction cup mounts that basically fall off way too easily.
