You really need to look up Member "Nexson" and add get that grille painted to your to do list... He does an exchange program, paints one of his for you sends it to you and you send yours back... He also does the rear trim as well... WDP's look so much better with them PTM...

How is the vinyl wrap on the window trim holding up? And how is the color in person?

The color is very close to the center posts between the windows, it's holding up great,

Awesome! Mine are still sitting in my garage along with the Magnaflows. Still not sure if I want to add the mufflers or just do the tips.

Well the Vossens got new rubber yesterday... TPMS sensors are back in and working, No more Yellow ( ! ) light on the dash... Balanced and road forced, Alignment, She rides like a totally different car now... Camber wear on the rears at 2.4 and 2.5 degrees was very minimal... Toe was out a hair on the left rear... Fixed that... Now the fronts the Front left Toe was out .27 with 1.3 Degrees of Camber which caused some excessive wear. The other side was 1.4 on the camber and .02 on the toe... even with more camber there was much less wear on the inside of the tire... So the statement "camber doesn't wear tires toe does, but bad toe is exaggerated by camber" is 100% true based on what I saw in this real life situation.. Rear Camber I'm going to leave alone no camber kit... fitment is great... I am looking into Adjustable front ball joints however to square the fronts up a bit more. 1.3 is the far extreme of "in the green" and it's at 1.3 and 1.4 but the computer tells you straight up Acura does not give "Specs" for camber on the 4g TL since there are no Camber Adjustments at all... so where the spec to be "in the green" came from I have no idea... 1.3 on the front being a steering tire does cause wear since turning left to right is the same as bad toe as far as wear on the rubber goes... Odds are i'll go with the SBC Ball Joints in the front and go back and get the alignment redone... I opt'd for the three year alignment from the lowered shop here in town since their alignment rack is sunk in the ground and there's no issues with clearance... and they took special care with the Vossen's not to damage anything... Pics will be coming soon if I can keep the pollen off the cars long enough to get a few shots of it and Matt's...

Okay I haven't been around in a while... so I figured I'd post a few pics that are close to being up to date... Trim's blacked out, Rear Emblems are blacked out, fresh 5% ceramic on the windows... It's pretty much done... Just gotta get with Nexson to paint the center of the grille since everything else is blacked out these days the surround only being painted isn't getting it done anymore... and we're complete.... Start off with a little before and after... Oh yeah and these pics don't reflect it but I had her some custom Vossen decals made in a darker pink/ magenta so we could loose the bubble gum pink stickers on the quarter glass... So much better... still shows it's a girls ride but not so bright and keeps with the aggressive look... if anyone needs custom color Vossen stickers I had Stickercraze keep the template since it took us quite a while to get the logo right... Vossen keeps that logo on lock down...

Hey User Error, I'm fairly new to the car game and i just picked up a 2011 Grigio TL and i want to say your car is just AWESOME! i will actually model my car after yours, but probably go a cheaper route, if there is one... anyhow, when you tinted your rear tail lights, what percent is that? Also, did you just paint the interior of the headlights? I'll take a look through the thread again and try to get a better idea of what you did.

It's not a percent like window tint... The taillight tint comes in light smoke or dark smoke it's the dark... It's on ebay from Metrorestyling and the headlights are 2012+ headlights they come with the black guts... I bought them for her for Christmas... about 6-700 for the pair from Depo in Canada... I am against opening them up they always fog up after imho...

Thanks!... Well since the TL is all but finished... Just gotta get the rest of the grille from Nex... We still gotta set that up bro... I decided it was time for a new project to play with... so I bought one... It's a 1950 Chevy 3100 1/2 ton Truck body slammed on a late model S10 frame... So it's got fuel injection, power disk brakes, power steering all the current stuff... It's static right now... but after I get the Interior painted and seat redone in some leather, the outside sprayed in Clear to preserve the patina... it's getting bagged so it lays running boards and bumpers... Anyways here's a quick celly pic... #layinpatina... Oh btw Erin enlightened me I've got 7 toys with motors plus her TL... Anyone wanna buy a 300 Wide busa? I need some more room in the garage...

Well it's Christmas time again, it's the middle of the night, no one's stirrin and I'm online buying goodies for the 4g to go under the tree... Two electrical mods comin, One finishing touch, and one to make life easier... Still debating ordering one thing but it's gotta come outta China so don't know if I can get it here in time still... and gotta go to the dealer and hook up with Daniel to get two of the toys...

An additional update, the TL is slumbering at the dealer with a bad torque converter... so she's in a 2012 White.. SHAWD for a little bit... boy the trans is so much smoother haven't really noticed how bad it got till she drove one that isn't screwed up... anywho more updates on that later... and some Installed pics/ vids to come after the 25th...

When you said "cut" you meant cut the OEM tips and basically weld the Quad tips on? I'm thinking about cut the OEM tops and drill a hole then screw them on or use the exhaust clamp to bolt them on.

The tips are about $130... Link Below... but they need to be welded on... cost me like 30 bucks at a muffler shop... yes you cut off the OEM tips, and you have to cut the new tips down shorter so they don't stick out too far... then weld to the muffler as the inlet is much larger than the stock pipe... so you slide the pipe inside (tip over with slack and get it centered) and weld directly to the face of the muffler... screw or clamps wont get it done... This year I got a new Lincoln welder for xmas so I won't have to pay for mods like these anymore...

Thanks.
Do you remember what the stock pipe diameter was?
In my area, muffler shop will cost me more than $30 for doing something like this.
