I'm gonna show my ignorance here George so hang on. I see you got the red ones for the turn signals (assuming since it has a red base), but wouldn't the white ones be brighter for that scenario? I mean the lens is already red so if you were to have a white bulb (brighter than red) wouldn't it show up more? I'm guessing it would look a little pink, but still be more visible

Red will show much more than white. A red lens only allows red light to pass through, every other color is blocked. A white bulb is indeed brighter in terms of lumens than red when viewed directly. However, when placed behind a red lens, the white bulb will only have the red parts shining through(white is composed of every single color) and the leftover red will be much dimmer than just a regular red bulb. Hope that makes sense.

how much did they charge you for a refinish? Mine are pretty scarred up, something i'd like to look at in the future.

I feel bad posting how much it was to refinish them seeing as how its only a fraction of the prices in other states....guess theres too much competition here in socal lol. We have lowest prices for almost anything automotive related.

Hey, whatever works. Here in the butthole of the country prices are insane for everything that you "coasters" get for next to nothing. Also we have to everything shipped in, there are very few places that have stuff in stock for our cars.

Very nice!!
Man I love leds like the next person lol. All my mods so far have just been full led swap, switchbacks. If only I was good at electrical stuff like you I would redo my whole interior lighting to fit the base TL gauge lights
