decided that acuras cant be lagging behind BMW/lexus/etc in license plate lighting, and the standard "bright LEDs" just weren't keeping up with the competitors, so I went all out with CREE. First I used a standard cree 5W LED:
It was very bright, but my friend had a set of brighter Cree leds so I wanted to try them, they are bigger so I had to cut more
Pics of the difference:
Result:
Hard to capture light intensity with a cameraphone but just look at the floor...

If you guys are wondering why my CREE LEDs do not have a projector lens, it's because I popped them off to have more light, and because of the stock light diffuser, the projector lens is not needed anyways, it would do more harm than good

Here is a pic to show you how bright my license plate lights are now, my previous "bright" LEDs never had this effect. Anyone else have LEDs bright enough that show up on the rearview camera?
