WilzRSX's Progress Thread-New Ride!
#203
Been driving with the lights on during the day whenever I remember to turn them on. I probably have close to 10 hours of burn in time and they definitely look better
On a different note, I recently swapped out the Ingalls Camber and Toe arms with the Stock arms and went with the SPC Upper Camber arm. I also replaced the Ball Joint Boots with OEM ones. I must say the ride/feel and handing is better with Stock Arms and SPC Camber arm.
When I went to get an alignment, the Front Toe on both sides were pretty bad. They were fine before swapping all of the rear arms.

GODZILLA & 3G TL
The PNP intake runners are a sweet mod for the price...definitely feel a boost especially this time of year with cooler air. You'll like that mod for sure man!

Yep, I upgraded to the PnP runners a while back. They were $380 or so shipped from Xcelerate. Install wasn't too hard, just more to take apart lol! You'll definitely feel the extra boost from them, especially if you get exhaust too I'll post up some pics of the headlight setup this weekend too. Probably gonna get new turn signal bulbs, the switchbacks I bought on vleds didn't work for some reason. Probably just go with 5000k xtreme white. The new zkw-r lenses are SO MUCH BETTER than the oem ones too. Why didn't I get new lights years ago?! LOL!

A quick update, all of the parts will be here on Tuesday, but I won't be doing the install until Thursday/Friday.
Also, the Control Box and LED Bulb of the V3 Tritons on my Passenger side decided to stop working all together. The warranty replacements for them will be here tomorrow.
nice man, I'll be getting the PnP runners in December. Yea, the ZKW-R lenses are a big difference. You should contact VLEDs about the switchbacks you bought.

Best of luck with the install.

finished the install of the SH-AWD IM and ZDX TB this morning
Took it for a drive, definitely feel a difference. No CEL or Idle issues. I'm using the MAP sensor that came with the ZDX TB and relocated the IAT sensor to the lower front grill area.
My previous set up was the 3G TL-S IM with MDX Spacer. The new setup is similar in lower RPMs, but better in the higher RPMs.
After that, I detailed the wife's ML for the Winter

thanks man
To me, the car has the same torque and throttle response from 1k-3k rpm just like it did with the MDX spacer, but the difference is the car pulls harder and smoother from 4k rpm and up. Pretty much floored from almost every stop light I was at on the way home just now.
i got the IM and TB for $400 shipped from AckTL05. For the 04-06 TL, you will need the IM cover plate as well, which is $100-120, but I had this already from having the the TL-S IM.

Got the PnP Intake Runners installed last night, pretty straight forward install. I spent the most time getting the bolts out by the power steering pump for the runners and removing the injectors/fuel rails. After getting past those two, everything else went smooth and fast.
Didn't get a chance to take it for a spin last night, but I did this morning. The PnP runners I did weren't anything extreme, they're basically the typical PnP.
There is a noticeable difference throughout the entire powerband, even in the lower rpms. Paired with the 3.7 IM and ZDX TB, the car feels great, nice and smooth, very satisfied with the results and worth the money.
Also, I still don't have any issues with idle that others are having with the 3.7 IM and ZDX TB. I did the idle relearn again after the install, no issues.
This is basically it for performance mods since FlashPro isn't compatible with my 04 Auto TL. I think the ECU on the 04/05 TL was a bit more aggressive from the factory to begin with.
