recently replaced the passenger side motor mount, saw little streaks of liquid leaking out, so it was starting to go bad, but not completely. very easy install, took maybe 15-20 minutes. i then also installed the NRG Engine Torque Damper with the Custom Bracket and definitely love it so far.

just swapped out the Speedometer in my TL for one from a 07 TL

Install took less than 10 minutes, just plug and play. The only issue is the TPMS and Airbag lights are on, which are not a big deal to me.

ended up taking out the speedometer and putting electrical tape over the lights for TPMS and Airbag. found some electrical tape laying around that had the matte finish, which blends in well with the speedometer.

Recently upgraded to the 3G TL-S Intake Manifold, with the UR Lightweight Underdrive Pulley, RV6 V3 J-Pipe, and 3G TL-S Precats, there was a noticeable improvement. The top plate is from the 2012 TL.

The color of the top plate is or very close to AM. I forgot to mention in my previous post that I have the MDX Spacer installed too.

installed a iSimple ISIM31 today, which is a Universal Aux Input FM Modulator. Its installed between the HU and the Antenna. It has a on/off switch, when turned on, it interrupts the Antenna signal of the Frequency the ISIM31 is set to. It works much better then a FM Transmitter.

I previously had the ISIM73 installed, but didn't use it as much, so I sold it.

I got the ISIM31 for free from my brother-in-law, he took it out before selling his car and since they don't go for much, he just gave it to me,

It works great and sound quality is good too, can't complain since it was free.

^ correction on model number, it was the iSimple IS31

Do you know if the 4G top plate will fit the 04-06 intake manifold? Or only the Type-S? Looks great

No, it will not. You need either a Intake Manifold from 07/08 TL/TL-S or 4G TL.

The thread for everyone in Colorado is here https://acurazine.com/forums/rocky-mountains-316/what-everyone-up-754093/

We're not very active on the thread, everyone has been MIA lately or have been busy. Our last meet was awhile ago but m down for a meet, except not when the Broncos play.

They were done by JnC, I actually used his Trade-in Program so I wouldn't have any down time.

Here's a link to his thread with all the information and to contact him

Nice! What are you thinking for the tails? Type S would look good, but I'm guessing you're going bigger than that.

And I hear you on the taxes. Tax is what I do, and why I won't have much time for mods the next few months until April 15th. From what I've heard, they are hoping to still have 90% of refunds issued within 21 days or sooner.

It will be the Type-S Tails I go with, most likely Depo unless I can get a really good deal on some OEM ones.

I filed my taxes on Wednesday, so hopefully I'll get it by the end of the month.

it looks like i'm getting my federal return sometime next week, but change of plans on the TL-S tail lights, they will have to wait. the property tax on my house increased, so its quite a bit higher this year. on top of that, the wife's car just had the check engine light came on and will require a new thermostat.

Thanks man

The thermostat is $150 since the wife's car is a Mercedes ML. I plan on doing it myself.

Getting the Timing belt service done tomorrow. Found a Honda dealer doing a special on the service for $679.95 + tax till the end of the month, which is the best deal around here. All of the other Honda/Acura dealers want $990-1300. Even the lowest price for a Independent shop is $880.

My TL is over 7 years old with over 90k miles, decided to go ahead with the service due to the good price.

Going to ask for the old Timing belt to see the condition of it.

Dropped off the TL earlier this afternoon, picking it up in the morning. The Service Dept at the Honda Dealer is open until 10 PM every night.

Got this as my loaner for the night.
