Appreciate the kind words! I can kind of see that in this pic lol.

And the wheels are Volk Progressive DE's, fronts are 20x9.5 +24 (+2 after spacers) and 20x10.5 +24 rear

I have no idea the wheel type or specs. This is only the second RL I have seen in my area with aftermarket wheels, and both are PFM/CSM. I only ever see the other one driving. Personally not a fan of the wheels.

Nice wheels coopcoop30. I was a little unsure how they'd look when you said you had ordered the Mallory. They look great!

I was unsure about them too. I thought they would be too racy but my wife really liked them and I took a chance. I'm really happy with how they look and don't think that I could've picked a better set of wheels.

Once again, I have no idea the wheels or specs. Just keepin' an eye out.

Doing a double take, this is the first time I have ever seen the rear Aspec lip without the front.

Damn. The RL is so beautiful in white. It was by far my first choice when I was in the hunt but couldn't find one that was in good enough condition or reasonably priced.

Here's a before and after of my 2005 Acura RL. I bought the car with the aspec wheels but they were pretty scuffed up from the previous owner. I just replaced them with a set of 18" TIS 536. I drive around 30,000 miles per year so anything larger than an 18" would be impractical. I'm not sure I like the black lip with the color of my car. I actually prefer the aspec wheels if they weren't so scuffed up. Anyways, here's a few photos to add to the post. Be safe out there.

Thanks MTLTL. I added the aspec body since I bought it and recently added the TIS 536B wheels. I had the grill painted to eliminate most of the silver look. I'm thinking about having the black portions of the wheels custom painted to match the "opulent blue" paint of the car. I'm also kicking around painting the chrome trim along the middle of the doors and front and rear bumpers the same blue to match the body.

I just bought this 2005 RL A-spec 3 weeks ago and it came with OEM BMW 2008 19" staggered wheels F 19x8.5" 235/35/19 R19x9.5" 275/30/19. The rear doesn't rub with one person in the car, but with cargo in the trunk or passengers it rubs. Since I have a family they had to go. They were removed a week after I bought the car.

I replaced the 19" BMW M3 wheels with 18" Elbrus 102 rims from tirerack.com w/ cooper RS3 245-45/18 tires.

I will admit I like the Bimmer wheels better, but you made the right choice.

If it makes you feel any better, I would be willing to bet the Bimmers were knock off replicas that were way overweight and of poor quality.

I agree also the Bimmer wheels looked alot better. I tried to find two front bimmers rims to put on the rear but they where very expensive.

But on the bright side the rims are actually OEM Forged BMW wheels (stamped BMW and GERMANY)with almost new Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires and worth a pretty penny so I can sell them for what I paid for the new 18"'s w/tires.

Damn that's a sick static drop, looking good!

What suspension are you on and what's the wheels specs? I've seen your pics on IG and that height is crazy, hehe.

I agree with everything you say here.

Like you I painted my grille black, to match the lower grille. (I sure wish I didn't have to put a license plate in front of that lower grille!)

I did the body match painting of the wheels on another car I had, and liked it. I'm thinking of doing the same with my stock wheels on the RL.

And, yes, the chrome on the doors really sticks out on that color car. Instead of painting them to match the rest of the car, how about some transparent "color chrome" paint, so they still are a little shiny, but are blue instead of silver?

Just my
