Thanks SWOOSH! I can't wait either. It would really tie everything together as planned. Last to do to ext is ASPEC side skirts and rear bumper lip w.the dual Porsche tips. Then!!! IMHO, it will be PERFECT!

Few good shots I forgot.

Silver would have fit fine but the red went hand and hand with the newly added suspension HT Spec v1 and the SPC adj arms (red bushings) with the braided lines accienting all.

QUESTION: I believe sometime by the end of this week I will be coming across a TYPE-S rear sway bar as a "Tick for a Tack" deal... From what I understand, there is a few mm difference (3-4mm+) compared to BASE stock sway bar. With the recent added susapension upgrade would this be a compliment additional mod or is the RSB that much better and noticable vs this TLS bar? I figure is size, there is not much difference between the RSB and TLS and being I have a stock base AT sway bar, the TLS would be really good and very much like the RSB...BUT FREE!

^yes the type S OEM bar I believe is 20mm, vs the 5AT OEM bar being 17mm. So you will "feel" a difference, and for free! The Progress RSB is 24mm, and adjustable.....I really noticed a diff going from stock AT bar to Progress.

Yes, for FREE! Can't beat that. Then later down the line I can scoop the RSB and sell the TLS bar

I'm sure the TLS is more than enough...Free is key...if you were paying, I'd say to pick up the progress and call it a day.

Anil, trust me, I'm kidding too...I don't take things seriously like when i was a kid.

OK...another question. What is a good upgrade from the stock DS2 HID head light bulbs. Something a lil brighter but NOT blinding for opposing traffic. Thanks!

Where it's pointing is what would blind them...technically, the oem bulbs are pretty dang bright being 4300k. I have 6000k bulbs from ddmtuning and I'm very happy with them. There are some other ones I can't remember that are 81552+ or something...but they are supposed to be yellower than stock, but more useful light. I wasn't willing to go yellower...I love the bluish white.

Matches my switchbacks.

Yeah, thats exactly what I was shooting for. Something along the lines of slightly higher then OEM but not crazy. 6000k sounds about right

4300K will be the brightest....
6000K will be bight but not as bright as 4300K

the lumens (light output) decreases with the increase in K (Kelvin or the temperature)....with the increase in K, the light output becomes less and the light turn to UV eventually....

3000K = yellow
4300K = white
6000K = white with blue hint
8000K = white with a deeeep blue color
10000K = blue
15000K = purple

White light disperses better than yellow and hence you can see more clearly....that is the reason why most manufacturers go with 3500-4500K....I would not recommend anything about 6000K as your main driving light (headlight)....for fogs, you could go with 8000K but dont expect to see tooo much

^ I would actually classify 4300k as white with a hint of yellow. 5000k is pure white.

the 4300 does not have any hint of yellow....

turn your headlights on and see it from a distance....or see an oncoming Acura and you will see the lights are blue

4300 is white with a hint of blue actually

5000 is quite nice, actually...but I wanted my bulbs to be discernible amongst the masses and 6k did it for me. Plus, to be honest...when you're going from older cars where we got by with about 900 lumens to upwards of 3000 lumens a few hundred here and there for a better or worse color aren't that big of a deal.

I forgot from the top of my head...My lil EG had 9-1000k...Those things were like WHOA! bright Purple...Sexy nice on the EG, but I don't want that look on the TL.

I was thinking the same thing... But I did not comment since I thought u may have a different set up of some sort...or something. But I know all the K's are bluein the lower to mid range K and HIGH K's are purple and real low is Brilliant white. And so on on that scale up and down determining the shade of each.

Correct me i I am wrong... But doubt it

OK, we're all fool of sh*t actually...every brand I've ever seen has different labels for kelvins and the colors are all ALL over the place...
Plus, something might look like a true white until you put something else next to it and then it'll look too blue or too yellow etc.

Jer....i disagree....some HID's DISCOLOR some dont....the colors I mentioned are standard for HID's....yes Halogen bulbs are different (around the same color scheme but since lumen output is less, color looks different)

YAY!!! I just filed my Taxes!!! Not bad... $200 more then last year! WhoooHooo! U know what that means... Possible ASPEC Side Skirts and Rear bumper lip & MAYBE... installing this dam IB audio system. But if the funds don't allow me to, I may cop out to the cheaper install and do a enclosed box. But the ASPEC is mandatory at this point since it would truely finish up and wrap up the exterior design of the car.

wow, i actually typed fool instead of full. I gotta stop posting while i multitask at work.

A money dollars...I wasn't disagreeing with you on the factual side of it, I was saying that when you look at a bulb, a LOT of how you perceive the light has to do with your personal opinion on what you are seeing...not everyone sees colors the same and sometimes something will look white until you put something whiter next to it. Get me? Like the reason they show you diamonds on a white paper...so you can see true clarity.

YEAH!!! I pitty the FULL!!! ...Oh wait, is that FOOL or FULL you fool?...LOLZ!

Back on the HID topic... YES! Its fact! That there is differect spectrum of shades in the listed colors vs the K on the lights. After that, its all about perception weather the glass half empty or half full... Or is that FOOL...Ha Ha Ha! OMG LOL!

HID color is either seen from a distance or seen on the ground never right into the beam

but yes i do agree with you as I know how it feels to be colorblind

sorry about the spelling above ^ ... I was on my cell phone posting. LOL! But wata a difference from NIGHT and DAY! The suspension is still firm but without the slight jolt when hitting a hole or dipping bump. As for a visual difference, not much can be told by the eye...But within the car is AMAZING! Looking for now to purchasing the TLS FSB

The dingy (grey) looking one was removed (STOCK RSB) and the black cleaner one is the TLS.
