^car looks great! The Koni's will allow you to lower the front or rear more. You would have to lower the perch to the lowest setting, giving you almost an extra 1/2" on top of whatever the springs are rated for. I have the Koni SP3's which have a couple more perch settings than the normal K Yellow sports, although the overall lowering capabilities are the same, just an option to go in between(almost 1/4"). I believe each perch is 6-7mm apart from each other, on the SP3's. Hope that helps, I think there is a set of Koni SP3's in the BM.....

Thanks for the comment ...

as for the info. That is just the thing. I don't want to set the shocks to the max perch. That will obviously blow out within time the life of the shock, PLUS VOIDS WARRANTY by Koni. But yes, I have heard they do lower the car more but on those settings ^ But alone on medium or daily driving purpose, thats what I don't know. All I do know is I wanna bring the front only down a 1/4 or 1/2in at most, and I will be stoked! ... Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!! HOW? And am I correct by saying these springs are settled as settled gets? Is there another name brand who has a approx. 1.5-2.0in drop rate? Or at least more then the TEIN S Tech's?

Koni will void warranty if you set their perch to the lowest? That doesn't make sense...if they didn't want you to ride it that low, why make them with a perch that sits that low. All shocks go eventually, does it last less, sure...but hey...how bad do you want the perfect drop?

This is why I normally recommend for people to spend the extra scratch on adjustable coilovers from the get go. IMO...leave it just the way it is...no sense in spending all that money to lower and 1/2"...unless you sell the springs and get coils I wouldn't bother.

That seems to be the road I will end up venturing... Buying SPC CAMBERS for rear and full coils EX. TEIN BASICS or MEGANS...or something. (Any recommendations?) But this is definitely going to be my next big mod.

Me too... But there was a misunderstanding or break in communication on my end reguarding a extra $ for deposit along with initial payment of services for the headlights, so we are holding off on the headlights as of now. But they will be coming soon. Thanks Ack/Bruce ~ Class act dude! TTYL

Yeah... Trust me, thought about it... Not feeling to secure with my first time experience and heating or baking the lights for removal of lense without breaking something or causing more damage then my already small condensation that is building now... I will pass.

^ Everybody has a first time trust me. What I did to get over the fear was buy an extra set of headlights so I could use those in case I failed. It is about the same $ you'd pay for shipping and services and you'll have 2 sets of lights instead of 1. I understand what you are saying though, I'm an idiot when it comes to anything electronics related

Nothing big here... But I been driving around town looking for the perfect set of pics and spot to take random pics for a local forum ( . com )that has nominated me as RIDE OF THE MONTH along with a few others to run... The only thing, they require a THEME set of pics. Theme following TIS THE SEASON... Its hard taking pics of a black car at night with colored light or background with out a pro-photographer, settings or equip... But here is a just a few that came out decent out of like 35-40 pics I actual took. I have til Dec 15 to submit my final pics. So I will be looking for more spots and pics and better quality.

...Like I said, sorry for the poor quality...I am trying to work with what I have

Cool pics...with so much other lighting though I think I would nix the extra effects and lower the exposure a bit to play more on the reflections of the light off your car.

The pics actually were worse then what I have posted... I cleaned them up as best as I could messing with the color, satuation, brightness etc... They just came out so dam grainey! But I will post more and better ones when I have a set of pics I have submitted for the ROTM voting by Dec 15th.

Thing that sucks... Car is going back to the shop tomorrow for 2 days for a few tweeks and touches on the paint.

Nice shots at night is my problem with my SONY Cyber-shot 12mp. Dam cam takes amazing pics otherwise And following the TIS THE SEASON theme is killing me also. But hey, what can I do... I just do what I can and submit it... The judging and winnings are only for fun anyways. The only earning you get with the most votes is a full link with pics on the forum of the car and some interview questions to answer about yourself and the car... So, yeah...Basically for fun. I have another idea for some last pics in mind...COMING SOON!

...and driving to Sarasota is NOT one of my ideas...LOL! But Big Thanks for the offer.

I was just going to ask why the pictures are so grainy...you can partially touch that up using picnik or something but even then, if the pic isn't clear, it's tough. Car looks great, but your pictures need some help if you're going to win COTM!

Love your theme overall...

Well, is there a "night" setting? Been a while since I've owned one but it's looking like it's leaving the shutter open for too long. Dark pics are hard to take and it's been a while since I've had a sony. I do canon all day now... Good luck! What is teh model number of it?

Hmmm...well, looking at the camera, and the way they have the lens set in there, the zoom looks like it would be limited as well as maybe it's ability to make adaptations to lighting may be limited. NOT a cheap camera either...wow. I'd probably sell it and pick up a 10 meg canon or something...or keep your eye out on the black market for a DSLR but even then, night shots require patience, a good eye, lighting in mind and ESPECIALLY a steady hand and or a tripod. Pick up a cheap tripod and give it a whirl. When you shoot a pic at night...the shutter stays open a LONG time so any little movement or even breathing will pick up as NOT a clear pic. Also, switch to manual mode and try adjusting all the different darkness/light settings. Start off with a box or a rock or something that you can literally rest the camera on and play with it from that point on...and be VERY still. You'll get it!

Yeah...something u said came to mind. All the pics taken where standing upright with cam in hand. Not stable or rested on something solid. I was wondering if that at all played a factor in the grainey pics. Cuz that is something this cam does such in...Movement! Still shots are great! But if a object is moving even at the slightest...BLUR! So I would imagine, that works the other way around. If I am moving it would affect the quality. Especially a night shot that would require more of the cam and self to make the quality as best as possible. Patience is what I don't have at times...

All good, man...also depends a lot on the focus mechanism and what they use. I had a sony back in the day but wasn't thrilled with how it focused.

The grainy shouldn't be from moving...just the out of focus look. I don't get it.

Yeah, mine has that Carl Zeis...or whatever the name is lense. Anyways, I am leaving work within 45min and I am driving to the Courtney Campbell Causeway to take some beach shots as my final attempt.

Well, daytime should be ok, no? Also, I know it seems dumb but check the lense to make sure it's not dirty or have condensation on it from going from hot to cold or something.

Sorry never checked back in...OK, IMO on the auto setting, it seems like the pics are being overexposed. It might just be the way the camera works.

J.

PS...lovin to see the hood!
