Update Time

Update Time:
So i recently got some gunmetal Aspecs. Below are my update pics. Since the BEFORE/AFTER pics in my first post have not been visible in a long time i will resubmit some progression pics below....Enjoy!

Day i bought my TL:
I swore nothing need to be done to it....that was until i found this website.

First MOD (NBP grill):
Must have for NBP TL's

Added Aspec Body Kit:
Must Have.....makes it look like a whole new car

Added Sarona Roof Spoiler:
Expensive but VERY nice addition....compliments TL wedge shape.

Jnc Headlights:
All of the shine in the stock lights didn't look right....flat black is the way to go.....in hindsight i probably would've left the ring around HID's in silver color.

19-inch rims:
Were nice for a while....sold them a couple months ago....went back to stock until something new peaked my interest.

AND TODAY (recently purchased Aspecs):
Sorry for the dirty pics but i just wanted to put something out.

Hope you liked my trip down memory lane.

THX......body kit and Sarona finish off the body/chassis mods (for me at least).

What's sm??

Really thinking about type-s tails.....probably would have bought them already if the grey color in type-s tails was a closer match to body kit grey accents.

Thats a good idea but not sure how it would work. It seems i would need to start by buying Type-S tails first (clear lens cover vs red lens cover of base model)....then i would need to send the type-s tails to AckTL05 for him to open and paint light framing to gunmetal.....gonna end up being the most expensive tailight conversion to date .

Cleaner Car, Fuzzier Cell Phone Pics:

Once again, i can't reiterate enough what a difference the A-Spec lip kit makes (not to mention the Sarona and the Aspec wheels).

PS---Gotta love that sunny Florida weather in February

^^I agree. Actually the rear drop doesn't bother me so much but i'm dying to improve the front drop. I still have 10k miles left on warranty so i probably won't mess with it until warranty is up (to avoid dealer BS). But once its done i'll def need to do something about it. In fact maybe i should buy some lowered springs and paint them black for install (dealer won't know and i could avoid dealer hassle).

Anyone reading this and selling springs with about 1.3 drop PM me.

^^^Got it painted at The Body Shop in South Orl. I would have preferred they mount it for me assuming they would do a better job. Mine is on there and not going anywhere but it is not perfectly mounted.

Are u getting one? If you find a body shop that'll mount it let me know, might have mine remounted.

^^^How naive of me huh.

I always used to talk about how i didn't understand how people spend so much money on their cars. I always said that if you just buy a better car from the beginning then you won't need spend all of this money on stuff. In fact, for the first 1yr i owned the car i didn't do anything except paint the grill. Now i'm a couple grand into it and if i could afford it i would have a supercharger or turbo on it already

Roger, you can't go wrong with an Aspec Kit and tints-especially for a NBP. Then do the wheels too!

can you install the a spec wheels without the a spec suspension? i have the exact same car and i was interested in a-spec body kit but it will look weird with the stock wheels i guess i will need spect wheels to make it look good. how much will the aspec wheels, tires, body kit run me? i was looking for G37 coupe with sports package but keeping the tl for few more years will save me some $$$.

In my opinion it would look much wierder to have aspec wheels without the kit than the other way around.

Keep the TL, you wont regret it.
