I Bought a 2000 tl-p about 3 months ago with only 54k on it so i dont know why it has these sounds and idle issues.

I am just wondering if anyone can diagnose these symptoms and tell me how to fix them, i am a very good at diy stuff..

#1 At idle i give it a little gas in park and I hear something that sounds like a pressure release, almost like a turbo blow-off valve but a lot quieter???

#2 Started car (warm) and the idle was kind of erratic, didn't go up but just sputtered and went down to like 400-0 rpm almost stalling..I gave it gas and wasn't a smooth rev???

_______Do i have to clean injectors, seafoam??? i Have no idea??

for #1 maybe the previous owner removed the intake resonators but other than that i havent a clue sorry. for #2 my car used to sputter on warm start ups too i replaced an o2 sensor and the problem went away and never returned but it could be a number of other things too, im sure other members will chime in so dont worry too much. try going to your local autozone and have them read any codes that may have been reset before your purchase. and congratz on the purchase!

For your first question, I'd say that you might have a vac line leak.
And if that is the case, it might be contributing to your issue with the idle speed. However, you should Seafoam and change your spark plugs anyways...If thats not the issue, than I would check the IACV next, when dirty it often times throws the idle off.
