Lights next to shift knob
Just got my car back from the dealership – got a few warranty issues resolved, mainly getting the burned out bulbs in the climate control replaced (also got new brakes under the TSB )
Somehow, after they replaced the bulbs that were burned out, other lights that had been working prior, now are not working…one of which being the little circles with “P, R, N, D” next to the shift knob. I can’t remember - do the little “P, R, N, D” circles light up when the headlights are on?
Thanks!

Burning Brakes
hmmm.... u might also want to have the electrical diag. done.... it's not normal to have those bulbs go one after another.... did you get your car serviced at Rick Case Acura this passed week? I think I saw the same RL and same color there when I drop off my folk's TL for service.... just curious

I believe those lights are powered by only 1 bulb. Maybe they didn't put the bulb/housing in the socket?
You can check by removing the center console plate.
Also, TSB for brakes? Front or rear? or both?

Good idea to get the whole electrical diag done - I'm taking it back anyway (they were also unsuccessful in getting the power outlet next to the shift knob to open or close).
Yeah, that was my RL at Rick Case last week - they had it from Wednsday to Friday afternoon.
socal28 - I think you could be on to something, maybe when they were working on the power outlet, they didn't re-connect the bulb.
The TSB was for the front brakes, rotors and pads. I believe there's a sticky about it. If not, if you do a search, you'll see...I originally got the heads up from my buddy who used to be an Acura tech (he now works for VW/Audi, but does work on my car since he's still so familiar with the RL)
