Oil Change using Mityvac 7201

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum. I may be purchasing a very well taken care of 2007 Carbon Bronze RDW w/ Tech Package and SH-AWD (mileage: 50,200+) within the week, so I'm trying to get a bunch of answers for a few questions I have.

I searched the forum, but only found references to this tool for bleeding brakes. Has anyone used the Mityvac 7201 to change the oil on their RDX?

I've had the tool for over a year and have used it to perform a couple oil changes on my '98 MB ML320 without any problems. For those who are unfamiliar, it allows you to change the oil without getting under your car....which you would still have to do for an RDX to change the filter, but you get the point.

Anyone?

I have that same unit use it to change oil on my BMW 04 325xiT. On my RDX enough space to change oil / filter without jacking up so never used the mityvac. Curious to know how you make out. As long as you can pull the 5 qts out of the dip stick. Keep us posted.

How would this get the sludge and debris out?

Really, just jack it up and crawl under for christ sake.
