^That pricing is seemingly reasonable. Was thinking much more.

I was at Ford last week and while I was there I checked out the new MKC on the lot. It's really nice. I love the Smoked Quartz paint. The features list is impressive, too.

Fully loaded with every package and option is still $1K less than that CPO M3. Hilarious.

Haha, for that much I'd get a CPO M5. I bet if you wait a year the M3/M4's will be going for a bit over invoice if you shop around.

I wouldn't want to upgrade until the mid-life update with an inevitable competition package.

Received the Ford newsletter email. The new 2015 Edge looks pretty nice.

http://www.ford.com/crossovers/edge/...ks=10906841750

Best part is, the Edge Sport will get the 2.7L twin-turbo EcoBoost V6.

http://www.caranddriver.com/news/201...-and-info-news

Ford is doing very well in their designs.

Edge Sport is hot as hell. Even in that gross yellow color. It's a good time to own a Ford. Their designs blow the competition out of the water.

That colour reminds me of the glossy diarrhea available on M3s.

Edge looks great. Is it all-new? Can't figure out if I like the rear end or not, all I see is Fusion.

Long overdue. And FWIW, the interior (minus the center stack) is identical to the Fusion. Brand cohesiveness I guess.

After the info we received detailing the dealer press conference in Georgia, the base is expected at $40,500. Most of the initial first run will be $45-47K based on options being included. RC F Carbon US models also will not receive the carbon fiber hood as part of the package. Other info regarding some IS, GS, & ES changes. Confirmation of the GS-F.

RC's "Running of the Bulls" event takes place next month; models expected shortly after. The NX will arrive in December; huge orders expected. Car is on a wait list in Japan.

I'm told $35-38K starting. They believe they will be moving a ton. Previous e-mail stated somewhere around 8,000 units.

8000 units a year?

that is like 670 a month. I think they can do a lot better than that.
If they meant 8000 a month? then they are smoking some good shit. This is a coupe after all.

Apologies, I meant 8,000 already expected to be moved since the car was up for order. It's on sale in Japan right now as well, so it includes that as well.

Edit* Noticed you were referring to the RC, though I thought you responded originally to the NX orders for December. I don't know what the word is on RC orders.

Oh...

Regardless what the # is, it will sell. I hope they sell a SHIT load of them. to show Acura that CUV/SUV is not the only market that can be successful.

As do I. There's 900 on the initial run, none of which will be discounted or deals made on, so I'm sure those will sell fast. I assume a chunk is already spoken for.

Not sure how many RCs we will get as our supply depends on how many GS' we move, & right now, the focus is on selling GXs since those allow the biggest profits for us and we're on a low volume at the moment.

eff that noise. Traffic in Socal sucks, I know. But I now feel that money spent driving my car is not money wasted.

I could be sitting shotgun in an F-Type R with Sofia Vergara on the bumpiest road in all the world and I'd still miss driving my car.

I could also be driving said setup, but I'd probably total the car.

I am excited to hear what the RC-F will sound like. I find it hard to match the throaty grumble that Audi V8s have. It's like it's sorta refined, but not. I occasionally see this guy on my commute who drives like a tool, but I like driving with my windows down when I see his S5.

Haven't heard many, if any V8 M3s or MBs though... that or they're all stock.

I work at Park Place in north Plano. Not a salesman unfortunately, but I have a couple guys who would be happy to help.

Of course, I'll share any pics of the cars as soon as we get them off the trucks.

I wish Audi still put the 4.2 in the S4/5, efficiency be damned. It sounded great.

The Mk7 Golf R is getting some really good reviews. I think it gets here in early January ... I'm going to have to go drive one. I don't know if I can deal with driving a slushbox.

Oh, it's not traffic! I don't go through much traffic for the commute.

It's just that my wife has been super busy at work feeling tired everyday. I just had to man up and be a taxi driver for her. haha

Obviously her car is much more comfy, so we use her car.

My car needs some love soon. SOON.

Golf R is high 4's low 5's to 60, I think. Plus VW is known for leaving a lot on the table when ti comes to boost tuning.

All the better for us!
