4” Quad Exhaust Tips

I just got my rear Type-S A-Spec lip put on today, and it is time for tips. I want to do the 4" quads on there, but the muffler shop quoted me $250 today. Yes, I have tried looking online and couldn't find what I am looking for.

Muffler shop does not have 4" quads that come ready. They are going to have to make them custom by putting TWO single 4" tips together, held by a Y-Pipe. Which looked like it would look good/just what I wanted when he showed me. They will be angeled/rolled/staggered and all that. They kind of look like these, they're long..
-uago8.jpg

These guys are known to do a fantastic job, 5* muffler shop...

What should I do?

Thing is, I spent $317 for the rear lip, $150 to paint it since it doesn't come in CGP, and now $250 for tips. That is rape. $717 just for rear end lol...

I don't think I've seen a set of staggered 4'' or 3.5'' quads. I'd contact SoCal to see when these 3.5'' quads will be back in stock.

I've got SoCal 3.5" quads. They are enormous! 4" would be insane.

These magnaflow tips look sick:

I think they are 3.5" or 3".

I can ask the owner for part number if needed.

Ballinzfizzle had custom 4" magnaflow quad tips. It looks legit, but it's a tight fit and needs to be spot on.

Well, I did it. I couldn't wait any longer and had the muffler shop custom make 4" staggered/angle cut today. They spent 3 and a half hours on it and it they did an awesome job! They are on point. Here it is...
-u8cpk.jpg

Issue, my buddy that also drives a TL, saw that I need to re-align my lip. It slightly sags on driver side. I would fix it, but is it worth it? Because I would also have to go back to the muffler shop and he'd have to re-align the tips ALL over again... What do you guys think?

That looks great, I wouldn't have noticed the sagged lip if you didn't mention it.

I want 4" burnt titanium tips!

Thanks man! $250. Well worth it once you see them in person. They are cannons lol.

Thank you sir. You don't think it's worth fixing if it's not really noticable? I'm just feeling lazy going through all that, and going back to the muffler shop etc lol...

I definitely think you'd have to have the Type S Aspec and not just the Type S bumper to be able to pull those off.

They look good!

Looks real nice. Pretty cool to see pics of the actual install too. Are those the 3" or 3.5" quads?
