I have searched and not found anything like the issue above. I have an 06 auto that I installed a new (I know I know -autozone) $75 LH axle about 1000mi ago and now I have a shimmy at 15mph and I have a loud click under hard acceleration in either backwards or forwards. I know that a clicking noise is a sign that the CV is failing. Thing is that the click will only happen in either fwd or rev not both. If it clicks in reverse it will only click going forward afterwards and vice versa. Hope that is clear. Is this the CV failing already?

Please help...
