Abt Sportsline: Custom S1 (based on Audi S1) news

Press release...

The Audi S1, trendy and sporty to begin with, has now even been uprated by ABT Sportsline, the globally leading tuner of cars produced by the Audi and Volkswagen Group. And it doesn’t stop there: suspension springs, perfect aerodynamics and the right wheels round off the package and turn this sporty Audi into a high-end hot hatch.

“The Audi S1 tuned by ABT is huge fun,“ says Hans-Jürgen Abt, the ABT Sportsline CEO. ABT POWER New Generation increases its 231 hp (170 kW) to 310 hp (228 kW); that’s 34% more! And torque is pushed from 370Nm to 440Nm. The ABT springs lower the car’s CoG by about 30mm – better handling and roadholding included.

With the Audi S1 tuned by ABT, you sort of “fly”. And its looks are great too: perfect aerodynamics are provided by the ABT fender inserts. And attractive wheels complete the sporty package. Customers can choose between 8 x 18’’ DR Gun-Metal-Look wheels or the one-piece cast Z5 in titanium matte. They can also opt for the entire set including tires in 225/35 R18. “Our Audi S1 combines a great look and dynamic handling, with safety still a priority,“ says Hans-Jürgen Abt. There’s nothing else to say...
