Door speakers
How hard is it to rewire door speakers in a 97 2.2 CL. My 6x9's in the back are already wired and to change them i just hooked them up in the back but my door speakers wouldnt work like that so i just used new wires and now they are just sitting out, as in not in the doors. Do i have to remove the door panels?

Getting the door panels off is easy. It's like 3 bolts/screws and pop them off and you're done.
As for rewiring, I pulled my doors off when I wired up my front speakers. I ran the wire from the trunk (amp) to the front of the car, to where the doors meet the car. I then cut a small hole in the boot between the door and the car and ran the wires through there. I ran 2 runs of 12 awg wire for the fronts into each door. And believe me, taking the doors off made life a lot easier when running that big of wire into the doors.

running through the boot is a pain in the ass, especially on the 3.0 premium, but it can be done, there's a diy in our 1G CL diy forum where fliplyricist posted a way to get them through, check that diy out
