Lowering Springs
Im just looking for some feedback on lowering springs. I have an 04 TL and i wanna lower it one inch. I never done this before so I wanna know what brand to go with, but I don't want the ride to be stiff. My buddy got lowering springs in his car and the ride was way too stiff. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Nick, here are some vendor websites for you to browse.
http://store.excelerateperformance.com/
www.heeltoeauto.com
take a look at those websites and browse the spring options that are available to you.
they will have descriptions and it'll be your job to pick one.
report back with some of your choices and we can further assist you!

An inch really isn't even worth the hassle. I've got H&R Sports which are ~1.5" and unless I'm parked right next to a stock TL, it's tough to really tell. A-Spec is good if you're looking for improved handling, but you need the Progress RSB to really compliment it.

Or just go down to 10mm or 5mm spacers and problem solved..
OP - FWIW I am running Eibach Pro Kit for nearly 70k miles on stock shocks and it still rides like OEM.. Its a mild drop nothing over the top..

Unless you have a really aggressive rim/tire setup, you shouldn't rub with the spacers. The TL's have negative camber from the factory anyway and when you lower it, the camber increases.
If you want a comfy ride out of the springs, TEIN is definitely the way to go. I had TEIN S.Tech's on my Prelude, TEIN Super Streets on my 99 Accord, and TEIN Street Flex on my BR-Z. TEIN really knows how to provide comfort without sacrificing performance and how to provide performance/style without sacrificing comfort.

The S.Techs lower the car a bit more than an inch. You should be fine with the S.Techs and your wheel spacers.

I have Tein S-tech with KYB struts, and with my stock wheels and Akata 20mm spacers I do not rub. I often carry passengers and even with all four of us in the car, it does not rub, The two girls couldnt even tell a difference in the ride.

Tein HTech is a nice subtle drop...close to an inch I believe. Member Predatorbird had those on for a while before switching to coils. The Tein Stech's are a little more of a drop as are the H&R Sports (plenty of members are running those setups).
I researched forever on springs and ultimately decided to save for coils. But springs are great for what it sounds like you are looking for - a nice clean subtle drop
