The 3G Ramblings & General Discussion Thread (Part 2)

... well I wouldn't show up if I was you. That's pretty creepy LOL
I'm assuming it's locked? I didn't have an issue erasing the previous owners stuff out of mine or my husband's cars. No password or reset was needed, just simply said "setup" and then chose delete or clear whatever it prompted. How does it end up being locked anyway??
Have you tried calling Acuracare? They have helped me multiple times with different issues that I would have otherwise had to go to the dealer and paid for.

I haven't tried saying "setup" because it prompts you for the 4 digit password as soon as you press the hfl button.
I have not tried calling acuracare.. from what I have read the dealer is the only person other than the po that can unlock it... oh well

Needs a 930
When I went to sync my phone and contact info to the car the previous owners 'home' # was still in there. I called it through the blue tooth but after a few rings I hung up. Just curious if would work

I'd at least try it. What's the worst that can happen? If they don't help you then you are in no worse position then you are now. They actually have given me radio/anti theft codes on multiple occasions , which I kind of hate since it defeats the purpose of the codes if is that easy but whatever lol. Also had problems with my XM that the audio place couldn't resolve which they did. Sometimes it's just a matter of hanging up and calling again speaking to a different person, once I had called for the codes and the guy wouldn't give it to me but then I told him I was given them in the past, he looked up my file, saw it was in there and verified all my contact info was the same and gave it to me again. I have a habit of loosing stuff lol

I don't know how anyone could live without their HFL. Now that I have it I use it 24/7 and prob could never go without it again.

i use mine all the time. it's a nice feature to have on the car and hands free driving sure beats holding a phone to your ear.
i find it funny the people that have all this technology at their disposal and don't use any of it.

I rarely talk to people while driving so I don't have it set up. I feel like people do everything BUT drive nowadays. It's nice to not have a distraction and enjoy the drive

I like not having to dig my phone out of my pocket if I get a call while driving. But that's about it, I hate talking on the phone in general. But the feature was one that first impressed me about the 3G. That said, I could live without it if I had to.

Yea, you really need to close the window to use the HFL. I love not having to fumble around for my phone too. The HFL is a cool thing. I've got my address book from my iPhone downloaded. Plus, I have multiple people downloaded onto the "other phonebook" (ie: "Call home" or
Call Tyler").
My wife hates it when I look at the phone in the car. So I only pick up the phone when we are at a stop light.

It does drain the battery like crazy, but I just keep the phone on the charger while Im in the car. I know thats not the best thing to do but i could care less, I don't pay all those monthly insurance fees for nothing LOL.
2nd you on not digging the phone out everytime it rings. Half the time I end up sending people tp voicemail so it is alot easier to look at the dash and see who is calling and simply hit the back button on the wheel lol

Ugh. Every time I look at him I can't help but wonder how bad he smells. Those dreads under those hot lights are not a good mix. I once met Wacka Flocka in a club before he was banned from being in NC. He smelt so bad that I had to walk away to prevent myself from throwing up in his lap LOL. This is coming from someone who met Sting, who doesn't believe in soap or deodorant. That I could deal with, the sweaty dreads are just too much for me.

Wacka Flocka should be banned from most places in my opinion
