You guys got a rise out of a 20 year old douche. Don't interrupt me unless it's a special needs child who puts his pecker in the tail pipe of his LFA and likes picking fights with valets because he's riiichhh bitttchhhhh.

My iPhone loads it pretty quickly on LTE and Wi-Fi. 3G is a nightmare, won't even load Facebook.

Hello everyone,
So after going through the car wash today, my car started squeaking (which is nothing abnormal, it always does that if the belt gets a little wet or when it's real cold in the morning on cold start-ups), however, the squeakiness didn't go away. An hour passed and I drove to autozone to pick up some belt dressing. Upon opening the hood, this was worse that a typical dry squeaky belt. It almost sounds like sandpaper getting rubbed across cement. It worries me that either a pulley or tensioner is bad, especially if it's the alternator pulley because I will have to replace the whole thing.
Thanks Azine.

^honestly i don't think that there is. i know he did a bunch of trial and errors trying to figure out what it was, and it sure sounds like the way yours is.
maybe someone else can chime in that knows a bit more about it.

the pulleys are too close to each other...rather than guess whether it was idler or tensioner pulley, I just changed out the whole tensioner. More money but it's a part that needs changing at some point anyway, so no regrets. You'll do new tensioner and belt and you should be good.
14MM to push back tensioner, remove belt, then tensioner is held with 2 bolts, IIRC. It's been a while.

I like either. I sometimes prefer FedEx because they deliver on Saturdays.
