Timing Belt & Water Pump Kit

I see kits going from $120 aftermarket to $400 OEM on ebay. What do you guys use?

I REALLY cant afford 300-400 for a timing belt waterpump kit right now

Just wondering what everyone uses, or to find a good price?

X2 on the Aisin Kit. For $176 shipped, you're getting all OEM components without the Honda logo.

Can't go wrong with either one
If you can save money with the Gates kit, why not

According to nfnsquared, the Gates kit belt is OEM, while its water pump is not.
For the Aisin kit, the water pump is OEM, while the belt is not.

Personally, I like the Dayco Kits. I have always loved the Dayco parts and for less than 200 bucks and it carries a life time warranty on any of the parts inside the box, should one thing fail (which I doubt it will) as long as you own the car, you get the entire free under warranty

So you're saying if a dayco timing belt snapped 250k miles down the road I'd still be under warranty?

technically, yes, as far as I can tell. Shows lifetime warranty... states nothing about mileage. As long as you were the one that purchased the kit, and still own the vehicle, it looks likes its covered. Kinda interesting

it means that if your car blows up, they will replace the timing belt kit components, but you are responsible for the cost of the car.

lifetime warranty on the part for such a critical component that will seriously destroy your engine if it fails, is pretty meaningless
