Cars and Coffee sightings

Since I go to cars and coffee every once in a while and sometimes I see some rare cars that I always post up here for you guys to check out. Now instead of making individual threads, I'm just gonna put my cars and coffee sightings in here, and others are welcome to also.

Most of the time I'm gonna be using my cellphone for the pics

So here is what showed up yesterday at C&C

<iframe title ="Preview" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" frameborder="0" style="width:320px;height:240px;padding:0;backgrou nd-color:#fcfcfc;" src="http://cid-a187ab1a397e99a0.photos.live.com/embedphoto.aspx/Cars%20and%20Coffee/photo%20^51^6.jpg"></iframe>

<iframe title ="Preview" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" frameborder="0" style="width:320px;height:240px;padding:0;backgrou nd-color:#fcfcfc;" src="http://cid-a187ab1a397e99a0.photos.live.com/embedphoto.aspx/Cars%20and%20Coffee/photo.jpg"></iframe>

I think the front of this car looks really nice. But looking from the side, the back three quarters of the car is ehh. Thats my favorite and least favorite angles of the car.

The brake discs on this car is f***ing HUGE! It fills up the 20 in wheels! Although the driver didn't go that fast when leaving, it had a nice tune. It's a little quieter I would say than the F430, that is at lower rpms. But it has a more racey exhaust note. Sounds great IMO.

I think the 458 Italia is beautiful ... It's quintessential Ferrari but it's also modern ...

I don't think I'd buy one if I had the money though ... I'm more of a DBS/R8 V10 kind of guy ... Supercar that flies under the radar ...

The 458 has recently tied as my favorite Ferrari along with the 430.

For me the F430 is still my favorite, although the 599 GTO is growing on me.

The front fascia looks like a Lambo wanna be, this is probably one of the uglier Ferrari production cars that I have seen.

I am a huge fan of the F430 (The 430 Scuderia is my favorite variation) and 360 Modena.

i dont happen to think it looks like a lambo... i think it may resemble that for people just because of the headlight shape. makes the car look very wide, kinda what lexus did to the lf-a.

but the rear end is simply amazing. love the tailpipes.

Oh God-don't tell Ferrari that you think their shiny red car looks like a Lamborghini. I'm not sure if they'll like that very much.

It does, quite a bit actually. To me at least. When I first saw this car in pics I thought it looked pretty bad. But its a lot better in person. It still has that ferrari presence when you stand in front of it. Even the bad angles look better, but still they are not that great.

Ohh I also forgot to mention, I'm not a huge fan of the dash in this car. I think ferrari stuffed to much in the dash. I prefer the F430 layout better. The steering wheel on this thing, although it has a lot of buttons, looks like it would feel amazing!

I saw a California in the flesh and I still thought it was meh. The 458 I don't like at all. My favorite Prancing Horse is the 360 Modena. That is what I'd have if I were buying a Ferrari. But I'm not and the owner of the 458 could care less what I think about his car

I completely disagree. This is simply my take on the car and I dont expect people to agree with me or think I am right, but: IMHO, I think the 458 loses the charm of what Ferrari used to be. It is way too modern for my liking. Ferrari was always about making beautiful cars that also function. Here, I am sure the 458 has functional aerodynamics since the car's numbers are insane! BUT it is not beautiful. the majority of people are only "ehh" about this car. Its just not like Ferrari. Also, old Ferrari's, like the F40, had NO computers to help the person drive...yes times have changed, but I think Ferrari has lost its charm in how modern it has become.

Maybe I am just old fashioned , but if I had the money, I would buy a Ferrari Pre-1990, preferably 70s/80s.

Went there this morning and something new showed up I've never seen before

Pretty good looking I think. It was a distributer car.

I go to C&C every month here in Raleigh and I've made the drive out to Charlotte once before too. Since you said others are welcome to post pictures, I thought I would share a few:

That was the first one I had seen at C&C. I thought it was a Phantom from a distance but then I realized it was the new Ghost.

Figured rather than starting a new thread I would add to this one from last weekends Charlotte Area August Cars and Coffee meet.

Said he had only picked it up at 11am the day before.

Thought this was pretty funny sighting

Still one of my favorite cars ever and most favorite car I will ever be able to afford some day hopefully.

This kid in my office is a big ferrari fan. I asked if he's ever driven one...his reply was "I've seen one once"

My friend that I go to C&C with went up north to go camping and was nearby montery. He didnt know what was going on there, on his way there, but when he got there he just told me. Cars and Coffee looks like a regular old parking lot.
And if you go on autoblog, you will see the kind of cars that were showcased there.
He didnt go in for the whole tour since the people he went with weren't that interested in cars, but driving by he just saw so many things. Kind of wish I went there.

Yea, its pretty good. We will get something special, like this enzo once in a while. But I think the best one is Dallas, from what I've seen through pics.

Dallas is only good because of the sheer size & the take offs. Other than that, it has slowly become a Corvette/Camaro & Coffee event with the same boring ass looking Corvettes.

The exotic numbers depend on the weather, but they're rarely above 3 dozen if you're lucky.

Put it this way, really. If you're ever in Dallas for a week, make sure it's on the last Saturday of every month & head over to Cars & Bikes at RAC. It's a smaller gathering, but the cars that show up have so far surpassed almost everything that happens to show up at C&C.

C&C may have had a Veyron a couple times, a SLS, a 458, etc., C&B usually always manages to draw in a large number of high performance Porsches, RUFs, Ferraris, & other classics in the area who try to stay away from the crowd at C&C.
