Does Acura tire rotation service includes balancing?

The A1 service for my 2014 MDX is coming up but its description only mentions oil change, tire rotation, but no balancing. For those that had their A1 service done, was the tire balancing included? Thanks.

This might vary by dealership but I'm pretty sure they don't. The exact description at my dealership is tire rotation, inspect wear and tire inflation. My assumption is that if they did notice uneven wear then they would perform balancing or alignment (and probably charge you)

No, unless you explicitly tell them to, and for additional charge of course.

No, not at my dealership.

Plus you don't really need a tire balance every rotation if there is no vibration.

The problem I had with my TSX was the tires would wear more being front drive and rotation/cross rotation help even out the wear and the tires lasted longer. It depends if your MDX is fwd or sh-awd if cross-rotation can help give you more life on your tires.

On my MDX and RDX, the tire wear more evenly since all four tires are driven. I have a lowered suspension on the RDX (eibach springs) and the camber is off in the rears. Cross rotations evens out the wear on all four tires for longer tire life (sh-awd actually shortens my tire life on my Conti DWS).

Cross rotation can also help with tire noise because it promotes a more even tire wear across the tread. I rotate every oil change and cross rotate every other oil change for the TSX, RDX, and MDX. I have lifetime rotation, balance, road hazard and flat fix at Discount Tire instead of being charged at Acura. My Discount Tire can also do road force balance for free if I have any vibration problems down the road (aftermarket rims on all 3 vehicles).

Thank you all for the info. I like mrgold35 option with Discount Tire. In fact, I bought all my tires there so I was surprised when I see Acura dealer charges separately for rotation and balance.
