3rd gen A/C Problems-'08 TL
My wifes 08 tl no navigation . Which wires can I jump out to see if the A/C compressor kicks in ? I was servicing it the other day and noticed the pressure switch was disconnected and a/c not blowing cold I wanted to check a few things before taking it to the stealership..

It's almost a certainty the stealership will tell you you need a compressor, whether or not you actually need one.
Check the A/C relays, and if you do need to replace the a compressor, get it from rockauto. They have the original Denso unit on your car came with, for about 1/5 the price of what the stealership will charge you.

any update on this??? I had to change out my radiator on my 07 TL. That went well, but then my AC started blowing hot. Checked all fuses and relay and they are fine. Fans work but I can see that the compressor clutch is not engaging.
Hoping it is a loose connection related to radiator job, but I have the feeling that the compressor is shot or that the condenser has a leak. I have not put gauges on the system yet.
I see that Rockauto has the Denso for around $200....have to see how much of a pain doing the replacement on compressor is.
Has anyone used a UActivate tool?.....supposed to tell you on which side of relay the problem may be.
Any other ideas?
