I just upgraded from a 2011 Tech to a 2013 Tech and am getting used to the subtle difference in the voice commands. I have a few questions I was hoping the more knowledgeable folks here could help me with:

1. In the '11 when I gave a voice command the system would repeat the command. It was a nice confirmation, plus if it misinterpreted the command I knew what I needed to undo. In the '13 the only way I can find to get the confirmation is to have the "training" option turned on which brings up an additional screen and voice message before I can give the command. Any way to turn off training, but still get your command repeated?

2. In the '13 when I have the map on-screen and hit the HF button a splash screen comes up with command examples. Any way to disable that? I prefer the little inset that popped up in my '11 and that I believe pops up on any other screen in the '13 besides the map.
