I just don't understand how people here can like that grille. It looks ridiculous and cartoonishly out of proportion. And this is coming from someone who wants to like this car.

It looks sexy in person. A lot of people think it is because it's selling really well now.

MDX sells well, but that doesn't mean the grille is sexy. What happened to good taste? It's a shame because this car has my favorite interior under $50k.

Looks good , but not sure about these 2 things... Thinking it might look better if the tail light was more flush and didn't stick out/flare out like that.

I think MDX looks pretty good.

So if you don't like something and others like it, we don't have good taste?

Agree with those things on the bumper. Looks out of place on a car like this.

Sadly, it's not going away on any Toyota/Lexus any time soon.

Honestly, I thought the IS looked like hot garbage when it came out and that grew on me. This one just looks good.

I just applaud Lexus for trying something different. I wish other companies would be willing to take some risks...

same with me.. i've been on this site for over 10 years.. haven't posted much but my 2001 CL which i bought new and drove for 13 years was totaled december of last year and got the new IS. i thought the new IS was ugly as heck in pictures but more i looked at it, it grew on me and when i saw it in person, grill looked pretty nice and ended up getting it.. i still miss my old CL though.. too bad acura doesn't make good looking cars like that anymore.. and i bet this car will look pretty damn nice in person..

The grille keeps getting bigger and they insist on doing the split headlight from the LED DRLs. I feel like the whole thing is just trying a little too hard to be edgy, which is certainly a departure from the Lexus of the past, but not necessarily in a good way.

This seems consistent with how the Japanese do things ... They think overwrought is better ... They aren't big on subtlety.

If it looks good in person I am all for it. This car would make an awesome CL replacement.

It was officially unveiled in Geneva. And the interior looks fantastic in red. It's definitely Japanese design but it is done well.

Some parts of it are overdone and I'd probably much rather have an RC-F than a F-Sport because of their V8 ... But as a long term ownership proposition this looks like a better choice than an Audi/BMW/Mercedes.

It looks like the sharp edge near the radio knob will hurt someone one day.

Pointy elbows-esque critique here, but that sharp angle in the radio/HVAC control sections stands out too much. Odd looking, to say the least. I still really like the interior.

I just love that Lexus is stepping out like this. A little late is better than never to enter the horsepower war.

From above it doesn't look quite as awkward:

True. That's closer to what the driver's perspective is. Being a stickler for ergonomics, I like it. But now I realize how awkward the start button placement is

Who am I kidding. 8/10 would bang.

I don't know about you but my head is not above the sunroof when i am driving.

I just realized the interior has 4 "steps". The stairmaster!

What, you're not 6'10" too? #tallpeopleproblems

I said closer, not the exact perspective I need to be more descriptive in my posts these days.

Liking this better than the new round of German stuff already. N/A V8 is the king of response/sound/driveability that smaller displacement turbo engines just cant match.

Love the side profile and way the rear quarter panels drape over the wheels. The front, eh...it's growing on me.
