RV6 PCD + XLR8 J-pipe + Stock Cat + Stock Tips

Has anybody set up this combination?
If so, what are your impressions?
Any concerns?

Thanks in advance!

I have RV6 PCD + RV6 J Pipe (which deletes 3rd cat) + magnaflows + Stock tips. I would reccomend getting the whole RV6 package vs mixing and matching. Are you really worried about the 3rd cat after deleting the first two?

I think that mine sounds good - looks stock.

Not sure where tips come into conversation based on the mods you're listing...

I was stating the tips, just because i wasn't planning to change them. My only concern with deleting the 3rd cat is excessive noise and/or drone in the cabin, and smell.

Once u delete your primary cats, that 3rd cat doesn't make a difference... From experience it actually makes it raspier, I recommend high flow pre cats if your worried about exhaust being too loud

Changing the PCDs and J pipe has no effect on the appearance of the catback or mufflers.

People have reported this problem with the PCDs, throwing O2 sensor codes - I've been running them (on tank of gas number 3 now) and have not thrown a single code.

https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-295/magnaflow-11225s-installed-853767/

The above is my thread (with sound clips) of in cabin on the expressway and ouside the car using magnaflow mufflers in addition to the PCDs and J Pipe.

Driving habits will determine if you set a slow response for secondary o2 sensors. If I don't floor it and coast in 4th gear(manual trans only) it won't set the p0139/p0159 because the parameters for that code require accelerating in 4th gear(55-75mph) then decelerating. Since I've kept away from beating on it in 4th gear the code hasn't set, but every time I do, the light will trigger instantly, kind of wish I just went with the hfpcds.

How do you have your defoulers set up? I have mine pointed straight up (path of greatest resistance).

I've had test pipes on the majority of my vehicles the past 5 years. Using the defouler trick, I've never thrown a code on any of them.

This is the first one I've done with those nazi pre-cats though.

Do you have the updated defoulers with the larger orifice. We started shipping those out for people getting the P0139/P0159. If you dont yet have them shoot me a PM.
