Turning back the Odometer.. I'm baffled!

Ok I didn't even know this was possible but today while I was trying to get to a friends house, I missed the turn by a few blocks and since I was on a one way street I didn't feel like going all around so I just decided to go in reverse for a few blocks. When I did that I noticed that my odometer actually went down exactly .1 of a mile... I was stunned. So since it was only a quarter mile to his house, I decided to just keep going in reverse since I was on his street already and what do you know the odometer kept going back!!

Has anyone else tried this .. I'm so shocked right now!

Never tried it, or even noticed it on the modern cars, but many years ago people would put a drill on the speedometer cable to turn them back, but that took a long time for any mileage to be deleted. Many years ago, my uncle was in Florida and as there was a mileage charge on the rental car, he would ride around developments in reverse looking for land, talk about being cheap!

It's true, I did this and now my TL has -25832 miles on it. My insurance rates went way down when I told them I make -10000 a year.

Only you could provide such a crooked idea for all of us.

And for those of you still in doubt.. YES IT WAS AN APRIL FOOLS STUNT..

with all the things bobby's done to that car, im surprised you knew how to start it. lol.

lemme give it a try. first you need to distract the guard dog in the back seat, then by pass his fingerprint scanner, then bypass the retina scan, then bypass the weight sensors in his seats (he eats the same thing every day) then bypass the voice recognition, remove the cigarette lighter, put the key in the ignition and voila. lol

Hey bobby let me know if i missed anything

No you got everything...

However, I didn't think to install the "Anti-whining and complaining bypass module", which is how CarrieLynn got past my security system. She basically bitched and moaned until the car gave up. It even popped the door open for her.
