Time to move on I suppose. I'm gonna have to drive mine until the wheels fall off after the economy took a toll on my finances this past year.

Happens from time to time. This is acutally the second wave.

Wave 1 - OG's, people who bought/leased when it first came out.

Wave 2 - people who bought/leased mid cycle.

Wave 3 - people who bought/leased with the refresh/TL-S.

Yeah my guess is the people selling are A. Bored with the car. B. Lease is up. C. downgrading to get lower payments.

I paid my car off the day i bought it and don't plan on selling it until the repairs are more than the car is worth. I spend so much time reading up on the TL, i would just hate to have to start over again with a new one. Sort of like a woman, it takes time to know her in's and outs and its a real pain in the ass doing it over and over again.

this is all good for those who are modding it give you chance to step up and be a known car on here. I will probably end up running this car down to the ground.

Yep I know people that get rid of cars every 2 years for a new one. So it depends on person. Most of the time its either boredom with the chassis or something urgent comes up for a sale. But this is a nice car I like it as a daily. I am finding another mkiii shell to work on as the fast car too bad my old one got stolen =(.

This car is definitely easy to get bored of, especially one with very little aftermarket options. I've only had the car about a year and im pretty bored with it. I love the car to death, but its just not very exciting to drive. Good DD, but I need something else. Even with the 6MT the car seems to get dull with the lack of power (although adequate).

i had the a/t for 367 days before i bought my M/t. i felTTT the same as you where i was completely modded up with bolt-on. i fell like i just started all over tho with the m/t since im going in a different direction than the WDP.

thought about a turbo for your m/t? i bet that would make it "fun" again.

I think peaple change there cars often or get bored of them bucause we Car Guys are NUTS we dump money into depreciating objects our cars for what so we can look at and say to ourselfes or our friends man that looks good then a week later we forget its there and have to find something else to Purchase so we get that rush again.

Myself included of course I havent even made the first payment on the car(Picked up a 2005 AM 5AT 3 weks ago) and I dont even want to add up waht I have spent for LED lights new 18 inch wheels and tires window tint Repainted bumpers new shifter knob and assorted other bits and pieces.

Dont get me wrong I'm not stopping I just have to step back and think about it from time to time Then I go order something else for my new toy.Crazy Huh?

the best part is having someone who parts out locally! I picked up some xlr8 quads with the TL-S rear bumper inc. aspec for $850. Going back for TL-S front bumper w/aspec, UR, and possibly V2.

tks Bryan (aka Accurate) one of the best TL-S ive seen around.

This is also true. Makes me scared to try and get people to make parts for it...Only things I have seen most people do is either full exhaust, pulley, and intake then most of them stop there...No one makes a decent clutch for this car but apparently CM fixed that issue so I will see about the review and go from there.

no performance mods really, but the basic visual mods....drop, tint, accord fogs, blacked headlights, type-s tails, etc etc....its hard to be different with the TL without shelling out some cash.

the car is my DD so i cant really mess around with it too much. I would rather get a project car than turbo a TL. I'm also saving for a house at the moment so I'm a bit limited. I'm just going to enjoy the car as a DD and then get rid of it in about a year for probably a 335i.

Same here. Of course, there's still part of me that wants to slightly change up what I've done to it (and do a little more ) and keep it.

I had thought about changing when I pay my 06 off in a few months, but after the turbo came out, I figured $10-15K for the kit and everything else to go with it versus $20K to start over, I decided to keep it.

I still love driving this car.

I'll tell you my issue. I got rid of my "race" car. So now I need something that will be fast. A turbo'd FWD pig beast is not going to cut it.

I want a car that I don't have to heavily mod for HPD at a track. I really want to take some driving courses. I may do that in the TL before my part out takes off.

i love the fact that there is a small acura TL community here in hawaii. It just makes my car stand out that much more. I usually get bored of cars fast cause there are alot of other people here with the same car and same mods as me. I like being in the position i am now. There are no TL-S on air bags that i know of.
