peanut butter woodgrain interior with black center trim pieces is ehhh...

The double din looks ok since the car doesn't have a navi. Not really a fan of seeing after market double dins in nice cars, it just throws the oem look away. I'm glad I got a navi....

since i did all the work myself it just cost me materials. the sandpaper and bondo i used usc all metal will cost you like 10 bucks for a box of paper i used 180 grit. and the bondo will run you 30.00-50.00 for a quart depending where u get it. you dont need a quart but thats wut i got. the paint i bought 2 quarts of nbp with the clear and hardener for like 130.00 something like that. i also have other projects im working on and have done already so thats why i bought so much paint. and a good primer will cost you like 50.00 for a quart. which u dont need a whole quart. the reducer for the paint is also a lil pricey. but like i said i bought so much for other uses you can get it all in a smaller amount for cheaper

my whole interior is black and penut butter it actually looks great in the car i get nothing but compliments. and as far as the stock navi i didnt want it there garbage compared to aftermarket and i still keep all my steering wheel controls i didnt lose anything. as far as the oem look it looks like it belongs there in person. theres little things that us acura owners can tell that we knitpick at but to anyone else they love it.

Nice job. I think it would go much better with a black/carbon interior though. I can't stand tan interiors and wood grain, so I may be biased.

i upgraded the whole sound system i wired the 4 6 1/2s to a seprate amp. i took out the stupid stock amp. and i wired the tweeters to the head unit. the center speaker is wired to the head unit as well. i also have an alpine type x 12" wired to a seprate amp.

Seems like the screen would be hard to view while driving. Do you find yourself having to look away from the road to change channels, etc?

Thats why you have steering wheel controls . As he mentioned, he kept all those controls/functions just like OEM

Wired up the baby blue harness Correct nd tight nd the double din is functional but no sound..? Does the other grey 30+ count harness coming from the car need to be tied in as well?

There is no real kit, mainly all custom. I seem to remember someone using some obscure GM model kit as the closest starting point, but just scratch build it

no kit it was custom done. the double dins mounting brackets actually fit the car so no mods needed really. just cut black plastic to fill in the space
