Has anyone been able to get the Video IPOD working with a NAVI to show playlist as well as Video on the Navi touch screen. I am sure people would pay good money to make this happen.

Whats a I-pod?
Don't have a I-pod, but plan on getting one soon. I've been checking out a good pod cast for spanish on switchpod.com. The Worsley Show also seems to be cool. What else can the Ipod do other than play a pre-recorded song, show etc? Sorry i'm catching up.

Music Link Sucks
There is a much better option to the music link. I recommend the USA Spec PA11 – HON 2y. It integrates with your stereo unit and the steering controls work. I just recently installed a unit in my 05 TSX, and its perfect. It took me less than half an hour with NO TOOLS! Also my XM still works. If you check the specs, you'll see that it will work with the Navi also.

If you have a TSX, check out this site for installation. TSX Installation. Oh and did I mention that it costs $150 compared to Music Link, its a steal.

nice. I have a macbook, RDX and cingular phone service (new iPhone coming in June) I got all of these unintentionally and didn't realize the significance, meaning it'll all come together.
know if this MusicLink can be installed in earlier Acura models like the 2003 CL?

Well, I had one of these Dice i-Honda-R2 installed in my 03 CL & the unit worked for half day. The next day, it went downhill. Either it would wipe out 
all my FM radio's presets, & "CODE" will appear. Or, there would be "EEE" shown. At times, the CD1 will display but no music is coming out even though the IPOD was playing.
More bad news, sometimes, it will literally make the whole LCD display disappear & make the unit unusable. WHen I shut off the ignition, it would give a loud thump bass sound. What the hell is this unit made of? Nuclear waste????

puts out. The Tweeter dealer said he'll replace it this weekend but the way it goes, I'm ready to get my 9mm 
& pump a few rounds into the DICE crappy unit & bang
, a dead DICE.

Junky Dice Unit for Acuras
Well, the Tweeter dealer finally replaced the Dice unit with the same trash results. So, I had to give the crappy Dice 
R2 the big boot . What a piece of trash!!!!
Now, to hunt for the radio that will integrate fully w/ the Ipod.......................

I replaced my stock HU in my 05 S2000 with an Alpine 9857. I added a Boston GT-24 amp and Boston Z06 speakers. The HU came with the I-Pod connector cable and it works as well as I need it to. This mainly for my wife when we travel.

I have been reading this thread and i'm unclear as to the latest status of the i-pod connection for 06 tl with navi.
I would love to use my i-pod in the car, first off can I? Secondly if so, what "parts" do I need to obtain for the 06 tl with navi?

Nice nice . I have asked my dealer for Ipod hook up and he said it cost $250
but i wonder if 08 rl would be able to get acura music link ...

Acufra and apple have reputation of quality. Myh expoerience with acura is great... but apple has disabled 2/3 of the computers out there by refusing to allow sofgtware upgrades without buying new equipment.., need an icon half smile-half frown
