What's popping 'Ziners, I'm in the market for buying Bumper Plugs for my 2005 Acura TL, as I plan on removing my front plate when I install my Front A Spec lip this weekend. I can't find any in my color, and my dealer wants $80, calling it a "Special Request". The color of my car is Abyss Blue Pearl, and I was wondering if any had some lying around or did not want anymore. I'm willing to spend some money, but not anything SUPER ridiculous. A link to a good and authentic website would be much appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.

Send a PM to DatboiDennis or Bada$$VTEC.

LINK TO DATBOIDENNIS THREAD: https://acurazine.com/forums/car-par...-3g-tl-396063/

He doesn't show your color so if you get desparate you can take any color and get them painted.

Search for "bumper plugs" in the 3G TL Forum and you might get some more info.

They are universal for all Acuras and paint matched to your specific vehicle color. The guys on the 4G TL forums have purchased from them in the past and vouched for them.

Thanks for the info. I was looking for these as well. I couldn't tell from the pictures on that seller's website whether they sat flush though. It looks like they kind of poked out a little. For the price, I'll roll the dice though.

Call me tacky but I brought some steel thumb tacks for $1.50 for a 60 pack and 3M double side tape for $5 at a hardware store and then brought some touch up paint at the dealer for $8
You can barely see it as it blends in and its very flat

Dang, looks good, man. I can't even tell that they're there from that picture.

I don't know if the older Acura models have actual plugs. But I know my 2004 TL does. But my 2008 RL, 2012 TL, 2014 and 17 MDX don't and I just put those thumb tack.
