More bass that won't interfere with noise cancellation in TLS

My apologies if this topic has been discussed already.

I am looking for some extra bass in my TLS, but I have read that adding any new speaker or subwoofer will interfere with the noise cancellation feature. I was just wondering if a workaround for this has been found.

I would like to have the noise cancellation still working while adding more bass.

You could make your own ON/OFF switch for the sub and simply turn it off when then radio is off. That way the ANC works with all the other speakers (if you don't amp them) and just not the sub.

I'm not sure if that would be worth it. Most road and wind noise frequencies are in the 30-200hz region. Not sure where the stock sub is crossed at but I doubt the mids would even make a dent in it.

OP, it's impossible to have ANC work with an aftermarket sub and amp. It would take thousands of dollars for the R&D to get it calibrated to a different setup

Ok... so ANC has to go no matter what.

Any suggestions for a sub that fits in stock sub enclosure or a reasonably priced sub that will fit in the trunk.
