Hello, i have a 2009 acura tsx base which has a single cd with aux in no navi and while listening to my cd i turned the car off filled gas and when i turned it back on it said "bad disk please see owners manual push eject" it will take cds and spin them give me a the error and when i push the eject it comes out fine. i tried original cds, burnt cds, and mp3 cds. wont read anything. any suggestions on what i could do ?

still under warranty? take it to the dealer

maybe the laser that reads the CD is dusted and this can cause the problem happened to my mom's car

maybe try hitting it? it works on some cars..lol but yeah, first take it to the dealer..if thats not an option, try buying like a lens cleaning kit that cleans the inside of the player...

Cleaning the lens requires you to open up the entire console, unless there is a certain trick to it. Remember the CD slides into the spot, there is no drive that pops out like on computers which you could simply wipe. Though that does sound like a good idea.

Thank you all for the help and ideas, i tried a CD lens cleaner, no good, i gave it hit didn't work, I'm out of warranty since I'm over 85000 kms, one Acura dealer said it would cost me 1100 to replace the unit the other said to bring it in tomorrow and they may send it out for repair which i still have to pay for. Ive driven 5 Acura's never had a even one problem till now
