** Official South Florida Area Chat Thread **
Hey everyone, I'm Jeremy. Most of you know me, some don't but will 
I just wanted to start an ongoing thread for all of us South Florida folks to have a centralized location to post, share pictures and even to coordinate events and meets here and there.
Think of it like a Ramblings for the locals. I realize that it's hard to stay up on all the local goings on with the various media types (IG, FB and AZ) and thought if we had a central hub where we posted and discussed what was new and where we were going, who to go visit for a fender roll or to get your wheels balanced...it would benefit us.

I'm sure you know there's already a large Florida chat thread (https://acurazine.com/forums/southeast-318/%2A%2A-offical-florida-chat-thread-%2A%2A-714059/) but if this thread starts out slow it may be b/c people don't want to abandon that one...

Well I hit Palm Beach once in a while to go to Cruzan. Plus I'm sure some of them come down to Broward for meets. I used to frequent there more for the shows and test and tune at Moroso back in the day.

Hmmm...not too sure. Actually, I think Mike Chan is planning to set up something to show off the TLX at the dealership in the next month or so. Not sure how knee deep in house stuff I'll be, but I'd like to stop by!

Haha really?....we used to call the races by a different name back when I was in high school. But I don't think the name is appropriate to use on this site. Racing out in front of Mt. Trashmore by Blackpoint Marina was a weekly occurrence for me back then. So was running from the cops every time they showed up to break it up. Ahhhh yes....good times...good times.

OR, meet at Lurias on 103 st and go behind the warehouses over the bridge. Had a night where I had to park my car in the Australian Pines and hide on the train tracks for the cops to leave.

Thanks for making this thread Jeremy. I met you as well as most of the guys in this thread at the Markham Park meet. I'll be following this thread...it'd be nice to hang out with you guys more often. I'd go to that meet, but it's in 20 minutes...and pretty far from here (North Miami). Depending on how long you guys will be there, I can show up.

Damn that's in my area. Bout time something's going on down my way. Driving to meet up with u guys is rough sometimes considering the distance but worth it as long as people show up.

Yes. My best friend had an LX also But he didn't have the balls to race it down there.
Since I was in Kendall I went to a 27 a few times. Luckily I didn't go the first time they had a huge bust and blocked both sides. My boy got a ticket but I heard they were towing that night.

well, if you're in your mid 30's and spent any time at Don Carter's at 2am shooting pool, we've probably hung out together and not known it.
US27 in Broward? I know they race up here now...but I never really went past the county line in HS.
