Pens miss the playoffs for the second year in a row, I didn't want or expect them to make it the way they played this year. It hurts, but I'd rather they not make it than embarrass themselves in the first round

I held out hope to the end, Sid had a ridiculous amount of points during this stretch, honestly the rest of the team is what failed him

I'm torn, the game does not deserve the mess that has always been the dogs, OTOH, having a team where I live was nice until they moved to the micro arena, I'm not paying MSG prices to go to a miniature arena.

Sorry man, it sucks. Imagine how I felt last year, being dumped by the Devils in the 1st last year. They need to show up this year.

Would be a bummer for sure to lose a local team just so you can go watch your team at least once a year locally. It is interesting that he retained the rights to the name for 5 years so if he can get an arena deal eventually that he could get an expansion team again. Would the NHL really even do that?

Oilers...my fave comedy found a way to salvage their season and go on a nice run despite the horrid start and turfing yet another HC. But, their D...I just don't see how it is a formula to get into the dance. Who is their Hedman/Makar/Morrissey/Fox? Bouchard is horrid defending and Ekholm is great but he's no #1 anchor.

Yah, just metrically, they are in trouble. One telling stat is they have the worst goals-against/goals-for differential of all teams in the dance. I think it's historically, one of the worst ever?

For example, Pens and Sabres...both have a PLUS goals-for/goals-against are NOT in the dance.

Rangers fans did try and warn us that Georgiev was not the answer to a starting goalie and was a fraud. Has been on full display the last several weeks of the regular season and last night.

How often do you score 6 goals on Hellebuyck and not win the game. Your goalie can't be letting you down when you score 6 goals on 46 shots by letting in 7 goals on 23 shots. A .696 save percentage is unacceptable by any goalie. He has allowed 6 goals or more in 3 of the last 4 games. He is mentally broken and should be punted to the moon at this point.

Craps don't deserve to be in the playoffs and definitely are the easiest draw for the Rangers, I don't think they'll have any trouble vanquishing them
