Anyone have a 2014 RDX? Thoughts?
Wondering if anyone has a 2014 RDX yet and if so, what are your thoughts? I know the 2013 had some mechanical issues like clunking from the rear and a few other things. Assuming Acura fixed this for the MY14? Were there any other changes aside from a new color?

Just picked up a 2014. I only have about 350 miles on it, but have none of the issues I'd read about like the ones you mention.
My only peeve with the vehicle is with the nav/audio controls. Admittedly the highest-tech device I'd used in a vehicle until now has been a five-year-old Garmin, so maybe I'll start to like it as I learn more. But nothing make one feel old and stupid more than new tech.

I believe they dropped the 4 cyl turbo engine in '14 as well. Otherwise they're unchanged from the '13s. At least that's what the salesman said, and salesmen are always right, aren't they?
We have about 1300 mi on our '14 and are pleased with it. No issues at all yet.
I even kinda like the nav system...it has a bigger screen than our Garmin and it's shaded so I can see it better in sunlight. We used it a lot when we visited out daughter in LA and it always got us where we wanted to go.

I love my 2014 RDX, and so far with about 2200 miles, haven't experienced any mechanical problems at all. I'm not terribly impressed with the Nav system, but I do really like the sound system on the Tech model!

I have a 2014 in the new color (Kona Coffee). Have about 3100 miles on it already and really no issues so far from a mechanical standpoint. (None of the rear clunking or the downshift feel from using regular gas)
Had to bring the car into the dealer on 2 separate occasions though. Back seat trunk release was not working properly (off the lot!) and the plastic door panels started to fade and had to get it replaced. Both times were covered under the warranty, so it was just annoying to go back and forth to the dealer to get it all done.
I guess i was a little naive, but don't get any paperwork started until you have been able to see and inspect the exact car you are buying. I just assumed since it was a brand new car, they would check for small defects like those, but i was wrong. If i did, i would have asked for another car off the lot and probably could have avoided the 2 issues.

Not that these vehicles have a lot of issues, but I wouldn't take that bet. The faded panels showed up over time, yes? Not something a PDI would reveal...and the balky seat release? isn't something they likely check for(nor did I when I took delivery). Of course, it would be fun to have all gremlins taken care of on delivery, but some things won't show up for a while...or a long while.

I have my RDX W/Tech now for 10 days with about 375 miles. I do not like the NAV.
I also have a 2008 TL Type S. The NAV for me is easier to use with the touch screen.
I do like the 10 speaker sound system the TL only has eight speakers.
I haven't had any problems so far with the RDX I fact I got almost 26 mpg with the first tank.

I love my 2014 RDX AWD w/Tech in Kona Coffee. While out on the road today, the salesman who sold me my car was out with a potential customer test driving a 2014 in Black. Stopping at a red light, they pulled up to my right and started asking me how much I liked the car. So far, I'm the only person in our area with the Kona Coffee RDX but there are other owners with the Crosstour, CRV and Civic in the same color.
With almost 4K since May, I haven't experienced any issues with my car. It is my first Acura, but my 2nd own Honda car. No complaints.
