Das Acura! NBP in Germany

Well after spending 2 plus years in Germany my time here is coming to an end soon. Ill be shipping my TL back stateside in a few weeks, so I though it was a good opportunity to post a few pics of my current set up! My 04 has held up extremely well and I plan to keep it for a few more years since its long past paid for. It currently has 101k and all all maintance has been kept up to date to include the 105k service which I had completed before coming to Germany. To me my car runs much healthier it seems after spending many miles on the autobahn here. I don't push my car hard but I do run it at sustained speeds upwards of 125mph for long periods when the autobahn permits it. I'm currently working on installing my RL calipers soon and will add coilovers once I'm stateside. Onto the pics...

Ace your TL is looking CLEAN! The finish you decided to go with on your wheels go great with the rest of the car.

That is impressive that your car has 101k because the car doesn't look like it has nearly that many miles. This gets me excited about my car; it'll be paid for next year, and look forward to keeping it for a long time after that.

I've always liked the 3rd generation TL's, particularly the Type-S.

Looking great

How's the local reaction to your car? Get a lot of looks and questions?

125mph sustained for long periods.

My TL is jelly right now. She wishes she could go 125mph sustained without worrying about the radar.

Your TL looks awesome.

wow! Wow! Wow!

That is one smoking hot nbp. Did you say '04? You have done a lot of work on it. Everything looks really great. Well balanced and subtle, just like I like it. I always say I would want to mod my car in a way that people that don't know much about these cars might say "hey, is that some special edition Acura sport s sedan?" Not totally obvious but anyone (even non-car enthusiasts) could tell it is different but don't know exactly what or why. In my opinion your car achieves that. I'm pretty impressed especially for an 04......Nice work!

What do the Germans you may interact with say or think about your car?

PS - what exactly did you do to your rear Acura emblem? I think it looks hot. Any plans to do it up front? Does it hold up well?

Clean ride! Car doesn't even look like 101k miles. I've been to Munich a few times, the autobahn is where it's at.

First off, that's one hot TL! It looks pristine.

Secondly, I too am interested in hearing how the local populace react to the TL. It must generate plenty of quizzical looks.

And finally...125 mph sustained? Jealous indeed.

Very nice Ace. I would love to stretch out my Type S at 125 mph....legally. Driving your TL on the Autobahn sounds like great fun.

theres nothing "base" about your car anymore, I can't find a single part that would say it's not a type S except for the brakes...
