Whiteout FR-S Opti Guarded

Hello all, Mike here again. The whiteout FR-S you are going to see today is a referral from my first FR-S customer. The car is less than one week old, and the owner instructed the dealer to NOT wash his car. I'm happy to say that it came with very little defects in the paint. It, however, needed a full decontamination process. For those of you wondering how contaminated a new car's paint could really be? Please see the following set of pictures:

Iron removal process:

I then foamed the entire car down before washing it via the 2 bucket method:

The followings are after I've polished the entire car, but before degrease and opti guard:

See the reflection? Bet you didn't know a white car can reflect objects like a dark color car would!

First time I've seen non manufacture photos of the car...very nice ride and amazing attention to detail for a car that you'd expect would already be flawless (but wasn't).

Great job and thanks for sharing!

I wonder...would I prefer a Scion badge, or Subi?!? lol...I like the direction these cars are going in.

I don't doubt it...I guess Subaru and Toyota technically both have the same track record as far as reliability anyway.

I can't get over it...almost 10 years after I paid $25k out the door for my RSX...comes an almost identical model but with RWD and the same asking price. Crazy...

Man I need some car care 101. Wifes new 2012 WDP CR-V is looking shameful at the moment and my tsx is...well neglected at best.

I need a good detailer in the Florence SC area or a good place to buy supplies

Was the iron decontamination before or after a wash?

And yes a white car can reflect like black ... people just don't prep them enough
