Just picked up my 06 acura tl after waiting 2 weeks for it to arrive, love the car still learning stuff about it, however It didn't come with a navi disc and I'm low on funds to put out 139$ for the disc. Anyone know a link I can download a version? It would be greatly appreciated

i've read it's not possible with any gps navi prior to 07.

not to mention it's illegal.

I read you can do it with all versions except the orange disc, I don't mind of its the old version. I just need a disc.

contact the place where you got the car and ask for one? you can try checking the black market to see if other members are selling their old discs.

maybe ebay?

The 2006 TL uses the Orange Disk. They had a promotion earlier this year for a $99 2012 disc, but I think that deal ended. Depending on where you live, you could probably get a way with an older disk for a lot cheaper.

Welcome-you might be able to find a disc on Ebay. Acurazine does not condone piracy of these discs though.

You best bet might be Ebay!

Congrats on your 06 TL. I'd just got my 06 just last week from my dad cause he bought a new car. As for the navi disc I would go onto the black market section on AZ to see if other owners are selling thier disc. Best of luck to you!

i believe orange disc is intended for the navigation systems for 04-06 models. White disc is for 07-08. Different systems, different color discs. The color doesnt indicate the version of maps it has.

Yes you can order from Acura Navi DVD website for any disc color for the latest up date, this including the disc for early navi system like those found on 2nd gen TL.

Congrats on purchasing a great car ! Save up for a real Acura disk. Its worth it ! My car is 8 years old and I've only had two disks. Forget about "your phone GPS is better", cause its not better with both hands on the wheel !
My GPS unit went out at 190K miles. Had to wait two weeks to get it repaired, so I know how it is to not have your GPS working.
Just hang in there, save up, and get the latest disk from Acura.

I don't want to take away from this new members thread for help but I'm tired of reading that AZ doesn't condone piracy yet they allow members to ask for help beating a friend when street racing on our city's streets.

Now that that's said. Go on eBay and bid for the newest disc that you find in your price range. Any disc is better than no disc but if you live in a major city to metropolitan area i'd stick with the newest disc you can afford.
