December COTM: Congratulations rodneyc77!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations to rodneyc77 for winning December 2010 Car of the Month
It was a tough vote this month and it literally came down to the wire for rodneyc77 and jptl04. Rodney pulled through and took the win. Although there are hundreds of 3rd Generation TL's on this forum, Rodney's stands out with his VIP styling and tasteful choice in mods.
Congratulations Rodney, this win is much deserved.

1. What is your name? Rodney
2. Where are you from? New York City - Bronx, NY
3. What was your first car? Acura Integra 2nd Gen - DA
4. When did you buy your TL and what made you choose the TL over any other options that you had? I purchased the car New in December 2005. I had the option to purchased any other car in it's category , but since I had my Acura Integra for over 13 years I knew that Acura would be reliable and within my comfort zone. It was the best bang for the buck considering all the options it came with standard.
5. What got you into modifying your TL and what was your first mod? I've always been into modifying cars. I felt that I would not need to mod the TL since most things came standard, but like a sickness... I purchased the comptech rear sway bar before the car was delivered to my dealer ... it was history after that...
6. Do you have any future plans for your TL? I have no future plans since I'm currently selling the car. But I might just finish off the interior if it doesnt sell by March 2011
7. Any special thanks that you would like to give (members of the forum, certain shops or individuals that inspired you or helped you)... I'll like to thank all the old school members here that actually helped me get motivated to think outside the box when it came down to modifying the car... too many to actually name and most have since stopped posting here. I would also like to thank TriState VIP and Liberty VIP Car Clubs for making me Focus my modifying to a specific style and not just keep throwing mods onto the car without a clear vision.

Congrats bro! i said it once and i'll say it again, Rodney you car is sick as hell. it was close between our cars. although i will say that the few number of voters really boggled me. almost as if no one cared or knew this was going on?
that said, it well deserved win. when you look back at how far your whip has come, the outcome really is amazing! peace brother.
