Hey guys at work right now but need some advice.

I was just wondering what stock system comes in the 440w Tech Package. I know it's called ELS but it's essentially a Panasonic speaker which can't handle high volumes.

Was probably going to replace the door speakers in my car because the right front one and passenger left are done and need replacing.


So I'm thinking of doing a complete door speaker swap out and maybe the sub with Kicker or JL speakers.

Personally I know Kicker has great reviews and has been a good audio company for years. Also JL car audio is quite good.

Just want some input on the swap out. If I should completely swap out all of the speakers for Kickers or JL or some other audio company.

If anyone has their 8" speakers blown up front... here's a few choices

8" Kenwood XR 1800 eXcelon speaker (Great quality Kenwood speaker)

Focal and JL or Kicker have a 6 1/2" speaker but you would need mounting.

Infinity reference speaker which is also pretty good.

Thanks for the info, I just bought those infinity reference 6 1/2". I also bought the harness and the plastic adapter for the fit(Thx to jnc2000). I also got an ALPINE MRP-F240 that I would like to add and of course I would need a Sub, but I am not sure what to get. I'm not looking for anything crazy just something better. Will post up pics as soon as I go to town on this project.

Gonna help you out a bit. The fronts ae 6 1/2" speakers as opposed to 8". Also, this site is full of threads (including mine) where owners have swapped and even modified their systems. You just need to do a search.
