New Owner: 2007 Acura TL Type-S

I bought this car Monday. Car had about 13,500 miles at purchase. Love the manumatic tranny. Has the black interior w/ silver seat inserts. Coming from an automatic, 1995 Mustang GT to this. This car would smoke my 'Stang, no questions asked. I've been shopping for a Type-S for over 4 months, and my wait paid off. Got it for a good price and I've been smiling ear-to-friggin'-ear since!

No mods planned for now. My Mustang had an off-roah h-pipe and Flowmasters. This is going to be my daily driver and I intend on keeping it comfortable. The Mustang...well, let's say we have some fun plans for her. Anyway, enjoy:

And a shot of my Mustang:

Lol, I know what you mean. For now, I'm enjoying the car for what it is. I think I'm going to have JNC tackle my headlights in the Spring. Windows should be tinted over the winter. Other than that, I'll be content for a long, long time.

Do you mind me asking how much you picked it up for? I am looking at getting an 08 and I am just curious. Thanks! Oh and she is a beauty!

JnC does an excellent job, if you need anything done with headlights, hes the man to contact. As for tinting, I recommend that you find a good tinter, there is an easy way to do this, ask these questions:
1. Do you know what moleskin is for window tinting? (it is a special felt that is applied to the internal wipers in the door that prevents scratches from forming in the tint)
2. can you tint under the 3rd brake light? (yes)
3. Can you tint under the plastic section on the rear quarter window? (yes)

$30,900 OTD CPO. Car has nearly 14,000 miles now and it smells new. Tires still show original lettering from factory. Interior is mint. I feel I got a good deal. Typically, this car will sell for at least $31-32k w/o TTL from what I have seen the last few months.

You know what I love about the type S? All you need is wheels and tints or even the A-spec and you are DONE! (maybe a drop)

Your price wasn't too bad! Congrats!

Now you can start wasting that savings. I suggest that you immediately install a clearbra on the car. Acuras pick up lots of rocks and stuff. Go to 3M.com and find an installer...
