Will these headers fit

I just picked up a 2-3 month old set of xs power headers. But when I compare the rear bend to other xs power header it looks smaller. How big does the bend have to be to clear CLS 6 speed rear motor mount?

Here is a pic of what i bought

The bend in mine was similar, maybe even a little more bent (slightly), and I had to remove the motor mount to install mine.

Let me know how your install goes!

Iirc the bend in those looks to be a little off.

The header bend is usually a little higher up and more pronounced as the bend occurs over a shorter distance on the comptech headers I have seen.

But that's not to say those will not work. But I think it's going to be very tight

Exactly like CL-S Progression said, mine was a bigger bend higher up. I installed mine without touching the rear mount, and had plenty of space.

I noticed the same thing when I saw picture of the headers. I read on a thread of a member grinding the mount down to fit auto headers. looks like he only grinded 5-10mm. I think the bend should clear that. Hopefully I can get them to fit.

Another question what o ring gaskets did you guys use?

i used the rings that came with my xs power. so far they are ok. the front flanges arent lined up very well. i had to notch the front subframe so it wouldnt rub.

Finally installed them and they fit. It was a tight fit. For any one thinking of purchasing headers, I would install it yourself. All I used was a craftmans tool set and a breaker bar and I found the job easy.

Also, I installed a pair of used headers. Exhaust leaked bad where the collectors joined the j-pipe. Definitely get new gaskets. Sometimes you can't even see the exhaust leak if it's minor.

Really soapy water and a brush. Look for bubbles.
