Thanks for the comments guys.

The coldest it is getting here right now is about 45, but in August when it's 115 I'd happily trade freezing for under 100.

Best tank of gas ever!

452/15.2=

31.862068965517241

95% highway average 75mph.

Astonished I am seeing as there were several wot trips in the tank & I don't ease it off the line as a rule, then there is teh 179501 miles on the clock.

Nice! Ive noticed while the engine loosens up a bit my mileage is creeping up there. I got 412 miles on my last tank which was just under 15 gallons.

Rain killed mileage. Except for pouring rain same trip:

353.3
13.895 ÷
--------------------------
25.426412378553437 =

Another milestone

After 600 miles in a severe storm the whole way.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

My mechanic called, the 3.5 motor is there but has a cracked block!!!!!!!!

I called LKQ, the recycler I bought it from, they have another on the lot that just got there and will take at least a week to be processed.

I guess I have to be glad he saw it before he was knee deep into it.

Just read this whole thread. Took me a half hour. Seriously a wonderful use of my time. For the miles on the car I've got to say it's in 10x better condition than mine with 80k less miles.

Just curious what you've got to say about the koni yellow/comptech spring setup looks like you've had em for awhile now. I'm considering this exact setup as I've already got the springs.

Thanks, I credit the condition to the PO who was a nice lady in Tucson that took care of it. That is why I paid so much for it.

I love the springs/shocks. I can turn the knobs and make my fillings fall out or make it softer than it was stock.

I have the back at +3 and the front at +4.

My only complaint is having to remove the back seat to adjust the rears which is obviously going to happen with any shock.

pays in the end to just start off with buying a nicer car, less to fix

not the teins with the edfc option , for removing the seat
but also have you ever tried just pulling back the trunk liner on each side to get at them (pull the clips out for those next time your seat is out(near the pass-through), i would think it should be enough room to adjust them after that (not to actually remove them; seat would have to come out for that)
or maybe try trimming the trunk liner just enough so that you can still get to the adjustment knobs
