1700 miles round trip is tooooo much for my 3.2TL that has 230,500 miles on it already. Should have an east coast midwest and west coast meet!

 

^^^ Yeah cuz you guys don't have enough stuff going on... It's in the Midwest for a reason, so people can come from all over and meet in a CENTRAL location. You east/west coast guys can get a meet of 50+ cars together at any time. This is the only advantage us Midwesterners have.

 

KC is a mostly central location. CA does insane meets, and the East Coast has its fair share as well. I have no problem with it being in KC.

I am considering going but since it is 8 hours away I was thinking of making a multi-day trip out of it. Only thing is I don't see anywhere on the way that is desirable to stop. . Will still think about it.

Also there is nothing you can stop and see....honestly....last year i drove down to Austin and trust me the only place i made a stop to sight see was on my way back @ Dallas.....

other than that i just made gas a stop @ OKC both ways....

^^^ bro thats a nasty route you have picked....definitely gonna get lost on that route....i have taken in to go to tulsa and was not pleased with the roads.....

drive via, Oklahoma City/Wichita....that is a wayyy better route....its ~30-40 miles more but speed limit is 70 as compared to 50....

 

Count me in...I might drive the TL or drive something different

 

I have started planning and budgeting already. Would be nice to meet up with some Dallas ppls on the way

You're in Dallas-- that's like a 7-8 hour drive which isn't bad at all.
