until the 4th gen Type S comes out, this remains the finest TL imho. And it's quite unique as well.

From the cool red gauge clusters to the quad finishers. Not to mention 07-08 additions like a rear view camera and an improved MID.

but jptl's car is much beyond that. very cool

I think I'm done with the cf in the interior, don't want to over do it.

I thought of cf'ing the column cover a while ago just never got around to it. Since I was bored and have done every other mod pretty much I said "what the heck!" came out nice. I can truly say "no one has that" custom details sets you apart from the crowd!

Very nice additions! Did you order those cf pieces through B&I ? That's the name of the company that made the ones that i've got. The steering column looks awesome!

alright guys ive installed my AEM digital gauges in my type-s, i think they're pretty cool. i didnt want these things all up in my face on an A pillar, and i didn't want them up on the dash either. im sure i could have mocked something up and made it look decent on the dash. im not running boost, or anything like that (yet) so i dont really need to be looking at them all the time....... so i mounted them in the glove box. its easy to open and close while driving not a long reach at all.

i really dont use the glovebox anyways, all i had in there was junk! i keep my registration, insurance papers in a folder in the storage space in the backside of the passenger seat. by placing them in the glovebox i could still have my gauges and still look oem just by closing it. the gauges i got were the volt, tranny temp, and oil pressure.

i did some research and found this gauge pod panel for a jeep or something like that. it had the perfect angles i wanted. slightly turned facing the driver. it was a 5 gauge panel so i took out my dremel and went to work, here are my results, enjoy!

here is the trimmed panel mounted on the new custom made faceplate.

after i sanded the bondo and made the two parts even i sprayed it with black paint

i then wrapped the entire part in some headliner material that matches almost perfect to the oem fabric

and when i want just close, back to normal

comments welcome
